My home is located 4 miles (easy on-off) from Rt 81. I offer 2 private bedrooms with a full-sized bed in each room. If sharing a room, the first person is charged $70 and the second person is charged $40. ($110 for 2 people/or couple.) There is a shared hallway bathroom with a tub/shower setup.

El alojamiento
I now have internet available (have hot spot internet), no cable or HD but tv provides dvd, vhs, & at least 15 channels for viewing.
The first private bedroom is approx 11x14, with full size bed, small refrigerator, ceiling fan/lite, shared bathroom, quartz electric heat & heat from downstairs stove. The second bedroom is a duplicate of the first bedroom. The house operates on well-water, & kitchen uses a LP gas stove .
House is located about 450 ft from road with parking at top & bottom of driveway. Has a console piano, a small library. I am retired military with a combination of active and reserve service. I have pleasing gardens and offer a very serene spot, yet very close to various areas of interest. Points of Interest: Early summer is the season for berry fests & farmers' markets. There are a few flea markets, auction places and many Amish families selling fresh baked goods, jams, eggs and a small store selling their different wares.

There is a diner located approx 3 miles from my home with free WiFi internet, gas station & stays open until midnight. The Town of Mexico, although small, is approx 9 miles West, has Mexico point Marina, health spa, library, a couple of eateries, grocery store, gas stations, McDonalds, & fulfills many basic needs. Continue West another 15 miles to Oswego for many more shops, eateries, pubs, movie theatre & Oswego College activity. Pulaski, a bigger town, is approx 13 miles north. It is noted for its salmon fishing, Pulaski Falls, Fish Hatchery, a few eateries (both fast food and sit-down dinning), as well as a grocery store, theater for events, gas stations & gym facilities. Syracuse is 40 miles south, Watertown is 45 miles north. Turning Stone & Verona Casinos are approx 45 miles East; Canada & Alexandria Bay is about a 1.5 hrs drive North off RT 81.

Welcome to the North Country & Tug Hill Plateau where you can discover & enjoy many activities. The City of Oswego hosts an annual Oswego Fest, taking place in summer; the area has many fishing & boating areas, flea markets, beautiful fall-colored landscapes and winter activities. The short drive to Canada is worth an adventure trip. There's always something to do if you take the time to read the small town newspaper or pay notice to the postings throughout the shopping areas and eateries.

Acceso para huéspedes
Can utilize the kitchen facilities -- limited use for basic meal, must provide own food staples, & must clean-up after self. A key is provided for front entrance & each bedroom. Each room has a small refrigerator and television. Can use landline house phone except for international calling. Guests can receive calls (no collect calls) via the landline phone.

Otros aspectos destacables
Laundry facilities, small-meal preparation, hot spot internet all available for a fee. Free Wifi is offered at the truckstop located approx 3 miles from my home, or the Grist Mill located off Rt 81 at the Parish exit. Internet is always available at any of the libraries (Parish, Mexico, Pulaski- all have variable operating hours) with Parish library being the closest and available certain days of the week.

Parish, Nueva York, Estados Unidos

The scenery and serenity of the locale is an asset. The Fall displays a gorgeous array of red and yellow deciduous trees. It's easy to travel throughout the area and visit other small towns, farm stands, flea markets, fishing holes, ma & pa eateries & larger villages.

Hello, I have been an Air bnb host after completing army duty in Iraq in 2004. I am retired military but I am not retired from living. I am a high energy person, very independent, a do-it-yourselfer, and an avid gardener. I believe I am an easy person to get along with. I will try most things at least once. I love to cook, eat, love to read usually on rainy days, & love to exchange experiences. I have travelled throughout Europe while on active duty and have taken a couple of cross country trips from Parish to California, the Midwest and throughout the South. I was raised speaking Polish. There is not much going on in the Town of Parish, but Pulaski, located about 10 miles North, is a Salmon fishing paradise. Syracuse is approx 40 miles South & my home on Searles Rd is about 1.5 hrs from the Canadian border. There are many farmer markets, pick-your-own fruit sites, flea markets, plenty of beautiful scenery & stupendous change of colors in the Fall. I offer a very comfortable down-home environ. I have no problem accommodating special requests or needs. I try to accommodate travelling families, serve all ages, genders & walks of life. Take advantage of each challenge because one of those challenges, may be a life-altering experience. Welcome to my home & discover an adventure. Thnx, Lyz

Durante tu estancia
I enjoy interacting with guests but try to afford the guests their space and time for themselves. I am very conscience of not overstepping my hospitality.
