Stay in a unique individual Roundhouse made by hand from natural and local materials. The Roundhouses are in a peaceful and friendly northern Thai village, and overlook majestic Mount Chiang Dao.
Our Roundhouses have a magnificent view of Mount Chiang Dao. Each of the three for rent have a shady porch with a unique view. There is one double bed and a small day bed that can be made up into an extra bed. The Roundhouses are made using a blend of local and natural products such as rice husks and mud, making them cool in the summer, and warm in the winter.
Disponible para huéspedes
There is a Breakfast Roundhouse which can also be used at any time by our guests. There is a library of books to browse, and facilities to make your own locally sourced tea and coffee at any time. Our shady pavilion is beside our natural swimming pond - a great way to cool off in the heat of the afternoon.

I live on the same property, in a Roundhouse of my own, and I am usually there to greet guests, and during breakfast to give you any advice you might like about our beautiful area. Dogs Cloe, MuuMuu and Lucy and cats Widget and Sophia love it when guests come to stay - a chance to be petted and play!

Chiang Dao is only one and a half hours from Chiang Mai, with regular buses and mini buses every half hour. Taxis are also available to go between the two places.
We live at the edge of a village. This is a quiet and peaceful area, with occasional festivals and celebrations. Local people are very friendly and a smile from you will get an immediate response! Please dress respectfully - be guided by how the local people are dressed. In temples it is good for men and women to cover shoulders and knees - and all the rest in between!

I came to Thailand when I was 21 - more than 40 years ago now! This is my home and I love it. I moved to Chiang Dao to build a home for myself and a small B&B. I have always loved building - from the lego and mecano of my childhood to the dream drawings I have always made of buildings I would like to live in. I decided to build something different in Chiang Dao, to try some techniques that had not been done before. I read lots of books and went on lots of courses, and Chiang Dao Roundhouses is the result! It has been a fabulous journey, and one that you can share when you see these lovely buildings at Chiang Dao Roundhouses..
