We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Binu's home. Her and her husband Dilu were superb hosts. Binu's cooking is devine, she made us the best dal bhat we had in Nepal (and we were there for 3 months!) Dilu assisted us with everything from arranging our park excursions (with quality guides) to finding us the transportation that we needed. The room has two single beds, good screened windows and is clean and comfortable. The room opens out onto a large terrace overlooking the jungle across the street with a table and chairs that we had all to ourselves during our stay. There is also a large bathroom with toilet, sink and shower (cold water only) right off the terrace. We had all the privacy we wanted, and the hosts were available whenever we needed them. The location of their home was great, a little out of town, a longish walk or short bike ride (they have bikes to use and the terrane is totally flat). The jungle is across the road and it is very peaceful. Dilu took us on a jungle walk our first night in town and we saw three rhinos, including a baby, storks and crocodiles. This was the perfect stay in Chitwan, we felt like we really got the best of all worlds, with all the perks of local knowledge. Stay there!

Binu and her family made this trip to Chitwan an unforgettable experience for me and my dad. Binu was the most exceptional host I have yet stayed with; she was warm, thoughtful, and so happy to have us there. She cooks wonderful meals with ingredients fresh from their farm, and Dilu spent hours with us, giving us walking tours of the jungle (right across the road from their house!), picturesque biking trips through the town, and arranging the logistical aspects of our trip from our elephant safari to the bus ride back. Waking up to the sound of elephants trumpeting outside, sipping home-brewed ginger tea on the balcony, and finding rhino tracks as we walked through the jungle will be memories I will cherish for many years, but by far my favorite part of this stay was meeting such genuinely kind, welcoming, and hardworking people as Binu and her family. Staying with Binu will give you so much more than a clean room and comfortable bed - it will give you an amazing opportunity to immerse yourself in the Nepali culture and appreciate the beauty of Sauraha on a much more personal and meaningful level than you would with any hotel or tourist package. My dad and I both consider it the highlight of our trip and cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone traveling in the region.

Meeting Binu and Dilu and their family was more than an Airbnb experience - it was a lifelong memory and bond that has shaped us in ways beyond our wildest imagination. The first night coming to Sauraha, we were running late on the local bus with no SIM card. Binu and her family waited for us patiently and kindly gave us tea and a warm meal upon arrival. The next two days were magical and we were treated like members of the family. This stay was the most amazing, unique travel experience I have ever had, and I wholeheartedly attribute that to this incredible family's hospitality. We all left wishing we could spend weeks longer here at their home. We came to visit the Chitwan Park, but that ended up becoming the least important aspect of our stay because we were more interested in spending time with this lovely Nepalese family. We were also allowed the opportunity to briefly volunteer at Binu's child care center - I strongly urge any travelers who have the time to volunteer here with Binu as it is such a rewarding program. I can't thank Binu and Dilu and their family enough for their genuine kindness and actual window into life here in Nepal. You all are forever in my heart. Dhanybhad!

Staying with Binu and Dilu is a wonderful experience! Their home is beautiful and such a loving family! It is in a great location, down from the tourist hotels. Easy walk. The bikes are convenient and very nice they let us use them. At the last minute they agreed to let me bring a friend. Very sweet. The food is delicious!!!! Wonderful place to stay and I will return! I stayed at Binu's house only a night (2 days) even if I had to stay 2 nights ( because of the traffic I spent one of those nights on the bus, the road from Pokhara to Chitwan is under construction and it took 24 hours to reach there). Even without comunicate with them, Dilu was waiting for me at the bus station. Everything was simply perfect! The house is in a nice area, nearby the park and the center of the city. Binu and Dilu are such amazing people, they took care of me anytime, cooking for me and taking me to the park (such a nice place). I really enjoyed my stay and if I will never come back to Nepal, I will stay to Binu's house for sure! I really reccomend them for your stay! Thanks again Binu/Dilu! You deserve the best! With love Fabio
