Wonderful farmers' markets and local farms (many wonderful options for organic foodies); 7 miles from both Narrowsburg and Callicoon, NY, both burgeoning arts towns with restaurants and shopping. 12 miles from Honesdale, PA, also a bustling town with arts, bookstore, movie theater, shopping. The location is ideal: private and serene, but not too isolated.

We have lived in the house part-time for eight years, so we can share with you everything you need to know to enjoy your time here. You will have all the modern conveniences and comforts described above, but it is an older house, with slanty floors, imperfect paint, and some second-hand furniture; and we've priced it accordingly.
Weekly rentals only in summer 2017, weekly or monthly the rest of the year.

We recycle bottles and cans, compost food scraps, and burn paper/cardboard. As such, we don't have private garbage service. We ask that you take your garbage and recycling to the local transfer station, about 10 minutes drive, on your way out.
