The stay at Filippo's house was fabulous! The house was situated in cennina, a quiet little town in the wine region. The house is very clean, has a Private garden and backyard that gets lots of sun. The bed was the most comfortable Airbnb bed I have ever experienced and with comfortable duvet! Filippo's cousin, Giusy, helped with checkin. When the battery of my car went dead when I was checking out, Giusy was super nice and called her husband and her uncle to come and help me charge and jumpstart my car! I recommend anyone who is visiting the Tuscany region to consider Filippo's house!

Cottage has absolutely wonderful views of the countryside. Centrally located for visiting hillside towns, you do need a car. Felt very welcome by Filippo's mother when we arrived, and communications were easy and quick. Quiet location, wonderful air. A little retreat in Tuscany.

We loved our stay at the Cennina Cottage. It was a perfect home base to explore all of the Tuscan towns, which are all under 45 minutes away (Sienna, Arezzo, Sam Gimignano). Cennina itself is an ancient hilltop town, small tight road leading up to it, and only 30 residents, so very quiet. You'll need a car to get around, for sure. The cottage itself is fully upgraded with wifi, air conditioning, laundry, but retains its country charm. The views are unbelievable! Waking up in your bed and seeing the surprise is the best thing about it. And so quiet, you'll have a hard time getting back to civilization. Would recommend it.

The cottage is a secluded little gem in the small town of Cennina. It's an older structure but has been nicely updated and is incredibly comfortable (not to mention it had great hot water). Filippo was very responsive, and we were met by his cousin Giusy at the cottage. She was incredibly welcoming and easy to communicate with via text if we had any questions. The location is well situated to explore local Montepulicano, Montalcino or Sienna. I would stay here again in a minute!

We loved the place!!!. It was a stunning location and the cousin welcomed us with a basket of homegrown fruit. His father helped us with our flat tire too. Can't beat the beautiful view from the hill. The outdoor BBQ was a great plus. Spent 5 nights but went by very fast.

We had 10 thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable days at lovely Five Oaks Cottage. Despite the July heat wave, the cottage's AC kept us cool and dry. Waking up each day to the sight of acres of Tuscan olive groves and of Cennina castle nearby also kept our spirits high. The historic cottage was beautifully renovated inside and is very comfortable. Filippo was an incredibly helpful and considerate host. When our arrival was delayed past sundown by a flat tire and we got a bit lost, he actually drove many miles to rescue us and lead us to the cottage. Filippo's family's house is nearby (handy for guests with an occasional question) but he and they always discreetly left us all the privacy we wanted to make the cottage our own, if temporary, home.

I would like to share the wonderful experience we had at the Five Oaks Cottage in Cennina. The cottage was exactly as we expected and better - much better! The view of the town of Cennina in the background and the olive trees as we sat every evening provided the needed restful peace we were looking for on our vacation to Tuscany Italy. The cleanliness of the cottage is superb and it has all the amenities that allowed us to make it our home for the week. We were welcomed when we arrived and also met with Filippo before we left which allowed us to share our excitement on how wonderful a location it is to many places. We were able to get to Florence, Siena, and Perugia very easily. I give The Five Oaks Cottage five stars.
