An affordable 2 bedroom unit (1/2 duplex) ideal for a couple small family or group holiday with a sunny northerly aspect. It is located opposite native forest reserve and 5 minute walking track leading directly to white sandy Amity beach with calm waters overlooking Moreton Island (see photos). Along the way keep your eyes peeled for Koalas and Wallabies in their protected natural habitat. On the beach simply laze in the warm sunshine or for the more active wet a line and try your luck catching fresh fish for your BBQ or wander along the waters edge in the gentle sea breeze browsing for shells entertained by a passing pod of dolphins playing in the shallows. The unit has a contemporary open plan living area design with reverse cycle air conditioning and furnishings assuring you comfort and convenience throughout your stay. A gas BBQ is provided for your favourite easy meals and relaxed holiday dining. Sleeping up to 6 guests there is a Queen bed in the main bedroom a bunk (2 Single beds) in the 2nd bedroom a lounge that pulls-out to a double bed. The bathroom has a shower (only) vanity. There is a separate toilet adjoining the bathroom. There is also a laundry with an auto top loading washing machine. The unit is insect screened throughout and all rooms are equipped with fans for guest comfort. A securely fenced small yard and landscaped garden area provides you with peace-of-mind for children to safely play and for your (strictly outside) small dog who also has the comfort and convenience of a large kennel. Off-street parking is provided on the concrete driveway in front of the unit. Amity Point village offers a range of amenities including childrens playgrounds safe bayside calm water swimming area with adjoining shady picnic grounds public jetty boat ramp tennis courts or relax with coffee and casual dining at popular Seashells Cafe/Bar or the fully licensed Amity Community Club.Our family did have a good time.
