The cabin is most definitely managed by Charles, he is the owner of the management company. As the description states it is vintage cabin, no frills, old school, classic ski cabin. It is priced accordingly. It is very affordable for a 4 bedroom cabin located in Aspen.
Indeed the home is nestled on the Roaring Fork River. During the winter months the majority of the water is frozen on top of the mountains. I can assure you during the spring/mud season it is a raging, roaring, river, hence its name, Roaring Fork. It is very beautiful and the sound is enchanting.
A bill? It is my understanding we sent you an insurance claim form to complete for the damages and labor it cost to put the home back together again after your departure. Thank you for completing the form.
You moved a couch from the downstairs bedroom either up a small staircase to the first floor. Or you carried the couch outside onto the deck and up and around the home in order to move it to the living room. All the window coverings were removed from the windows in one room as well as a TV which was disconnected and reconnected. All in all, both TV's, all the couches and window coverings were in one room. The oven was an explosion of chocolate left to molten and adhere to the top and underneath the stove eyes. Yes, it did take additional cleaning and man power to convert the home and repair the damages caused by you and your group.
Please recheck your inbox to confirm the pictures and invoices were sent 3 days after your departure and dated the day you departed. Our management company offered to submit the form, for you, to the insurance company in hopes they will cover YOUR expense. It was a complimentary service provided to you. It will MOST definitely turn into a bill if the insurance company refuses to cover the expense. Once we hear back from the insurance company regarding your claim, we will be in touch.
