We take note of your comments. However,
- All rooms are properly photographed and also bright and airy.
- The location of the chalet is disclosed very clearly in the description of the chalet. The Chamonix Valley is 23km long, so depending on where you wish to go, you will need to drive. This is not a walk-about resort.
- Your comment is factually wrong. In general, no food is left in the chalet for hygiene reason. We would not consider the chalet clean and ready if food was left in it from a previous guest. However, a welcome basket including orange juice, coffee pods, tea bags, a set of Bonne Maman jams, chocolate biscuits, peanuts and crisps was put at your disposal and we noticed that you certainly did make use of it. This is even though the chalet was rented on a self-catered basis, not on a full board basis.
You did however not respect the house rules that are clearly shown in the AirBnB ad: you did bring a dog with you without seeking our previous consent. We chose not to charge you for it despite the fact that we do generally charge an additional fee for a pet and also take a higher security deposit.
We would appreciate next time that you review a place fairly, after taking into account all the info that was made available to you prior to your stay (location of the chalet, description of the space and understanding of the house rules).
