This raised ground floor apartment is part of a prestigious new development in the heart of Eastbourne. The shops, restaurants, train station and attractions are all within easy reach.

This newly renovated holiday flat blends lovely high ceilings and period sash windows with a contemporary, minimalist finish.

The master bedroom is a kingsize (can split into twins), while the second bedroom has a small double bed - so can sleep one adult or two small children.

WiFi and towels/linen provided.

This stylish apartment has an open plan living space, with dining table, comfortable seating, TV with built-in DVD player and brand new, fitted kitchen. This has a hob, oven, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, dishwasher and microwave plus a good array of cooking utensils.

The bathroom has a large, walk-in shower. Parking is on street and permits are available for £1 per day, per vehicle.

The apartment is located on Hyde Gardens, which is literally moments from the cosmopolitan cafes and shops of the popular Little Chelsea area. The town centre is also a stone's throw away and it is just five minutes walk to the beach or the train station.

This stylish apartment is bookable by the week from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days and short stays may be possible out of season and last minute.

Carl’s background is in marketing, much of it international, which helped feed his love of travel – nicely topping up two separate global backpacking years. Experiencing a diverse mix of swanky but often soulless business class hotels and friendly but basic hostels shapes an opinion of what travellers need and want (and, as importantly, don’t).

Sarah enjoyed a career in public relations prior to roles as mother, director for Exclusively Holiday Homes and chief family organiser.

A shift away from London has many advantages for a young family who love fresh air, the outdoor life and a beach at the end of the road!
