Host: Excellent. She is very pleasant and personable. She was extremely helpful in our navigation to the place, which is QUITE A WAY off the beaten path. Property: It just wasn't for us. Some people may appreciate it more than we did. The place was clean, but there was a ve…

Hello: so sorry that your expectation was that this would be like a hotel, with the lifestyle you are used to living in a large city... and some of the details were uncomfortable. Let me respond: there are window coverings, translucent curtains, I read you would prefer shades that totally block light. In the advertising of A Path Less Traveled I don’t even offer TV, I did forget to mention to You that there is a DVD player, and a few DVDs to watch. I understand that the toilette paper in trash was new and yucky idea, but there are many people in CA and in AR that live in the country, and have lodges and retreats ( like Fire OM Earth in Eureka) who preserve their septic systems that way. I will look for biodegradable toilette paper for the future comfort if City Guests. The no key issue... similar! Have you not stayed in State Park cabins, or Ski Lodges, or BnB’s in peoples homes, and no locks for doors? Truly, it is safe! Now, the Odor from sink, toilette and shower: this is The Ozarks! Many many wells here have Sulfur in their water! It is a harmless mineral, that actually has beneficial properties for human and animal joints. Y agree it does not have a scent that is pleasing to most people. I have a filter in the water system but it does not remove the scent. I have searched for solutions, and found one that is unacceptable: a water softener. If anyone reading this has knowledge of other methods that do not put toxins in the water, please let me know. Thank you for your feedback!
