I'm terribly sorry to hear about this experience. You were only there for one night so it was really bad luck as well. I have contacted the other guests and airbnb letting them know about this situation. We have also taken precautions against this happening in the future -- we have installed outdoor wifi neabled cameras with noise detection, and have made our house policies more clear on our zero tolerance policy for parties, events and noise.
I also want to assure future guests that this is definitely not the norm for us. This is the first time we've had a noise complaint. We live just 3 blocks down the street ourselves, I am surprised we did not become aware of this as it was going on. We are always nearby should you need to contact us any time night or day in this type of emergency situation, and we will respond promptly and decisively, and resolve the issue within minutes in person and on the spot.
