The vintage features so lovingly kept frame bold art and furniture. The colorful quirky artists garret upstairs is a refreshing change from the ordinary. A king size bed is always at the ready, along with a trundle twin that can become another king bed. (Open concept!) It's really a fun, flowing home, bright, blooming, waiting for you.

We’re looking forward to hosting you at our property in Denver. I wanted to drop you a line because we’ve had some guests express concern about the COVID-19 coronavirus, and I wanted to let you know about the proactive steps we’re taking.
Please know that we don’t have any known cases in our properties and to the best of our knowledge no previous guests have had the virus. I certainly understand that you are worried about COVID-19. I’ve been concerned myself, and I’ve been taking active steps to make sure our rentals are safe for our guests. However, out of an abundance of caution, please know we are cleaning every rental using our Disinfection Checklist, which follows guidelines for disinfection laid out by the CDC, EPA, and World Health Organization.
This means your rental will not only be cleaned, but the following “high touch” points will be disinfected: light switches and lamps, doorknobs and handles, keypads/keys, tabletops, cabinet and dresser knobs and drawer pulls, and all electronics and appliances. The kitchen and bathroom will also be disinfected, and all dishes and flatware at the property will be sanitized in the dishwasher.
If you’d like to ask any questions about our cleaning process or if there are any additional precautions that would give you a little peace of mind, please let us know. Please let me know if you feel comfortable keeping your reservation with this additional information, if your concern is about the rental itself.

This home was built in 1890, it has been well loved and recently modernized. You have full run of the second floor of the home.
A fully functional kitchen is equipped with full size electric range/stove and full size refrigerator.
There is high speed wifi, cable and a flat screen television mounted in the main bedroom/living area.
The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, with a wide array of cooking supplies, spices and oils. The refrigerator has basics - cream, basic breakfast supplies and the freezer coffee, please use freely!
Table and stools are perfect for breakfast, and the king bed in the front living area is a comfortable spot to kick back, with a sunny view.
Off the kitchen area is tucked a twin trundle bed for an extra guest - this can be converted to another king to comfortably accommodate four total guests.
Be aware this is a completely open loft, with some separation between the kitchen area and front king bed, but no doors, except for the top of the entry stairs and the full size bath.
Heading towards the back yard there is a washer/dryer that is shared with the owner who lives downstairs, as the backyard is also shared with the owner and his friendly dogs.
The backyard is yours to share as well.
We are walking distance (less the 6 blocks) from the Denver Zoo, City park golf course, City Park Jazz. Downtown is a 15 minute walk. E bike stations are close, as is light-rail. 7 Blocks from restaurant row, 10 blocks from this city's best book store, the tattered cover, and The Central Denver Rec center (which opens this fall!), featuring 2 pools, lap and leisure, two full size gymnasiums, weights and cardio. Incredible local's coffee shop (St. Marks) is only 4 blocks away, and grocery is on the same block.
Marczyks Fine Food is a terrific local grocery.

You'll have free reign over the upper level of the home, with open bedroom/living area, bathroom and kitchen.
Guests are welcome to use the laundry, and back yard, though they are shared. Joe (the owner) and his dogs live downstairs and out back. The downstairs and basement are private.

Otros aspectos destacables
The owner lives downstairs with his two dogs. They are very well behaved after a well placed bark!
You will share the back entry and laundry room with the dogs and Joe as they come and go. You'll head upstairs to your private apartment with a locked door. They occasionally come into the space between guests (rarely) and you may encounter some pet hair.
Lint rollers will be provided.

We are lucky to professionally host many properties in the Capitol Hill/Uptown/City Park/LoHi/Wash Park/Stapleton areas. We personally greet many of our guests. Gretchen is an adopted Colorado native of 22 years - 12 years in Vail and 10 fabulous years living in Capitol Hill in Denver. Jim was born in Denver and his entire family lives here. We LOVE this city and this state - it has so much to offer visitors and residents. The culture, diversity, performing arts and culinary scene are just a few of the things that make us smile here every day. We truly enjoy helping people connect to the best of the best local gems, whether it's one of our hidden comedy venues or to the newest and most innovative restaurants. Our food truck scene is out of this world, we have the most amazing bands locally and headliners that come from across the country and around the world to perform here. Jim has an unbelievable wealth of knowledge of Colorado microbrews and can be booked to guide you through some of the best local craft breweries, tailored to your specific taste. Budtenders can be booked for an informative, fun and unique dispensary tour, to discover the truth behind the cannabis lifestyle in Denver. Gretchen can take you for a progressive happy hour, for "single bite" bests at some Denver's best restaurants off the beaten path.
