My partner and I had a great stay at MJ's place. We camped and it ended up being really lovely. The tent is very open air so we could see the stars and moon and hear birds in the morning. It was very peaceful. MJ was very communicative and very hospitable--giving us lanterns for the tent, a cooler with ice, a grill and utensils to use, and a map of the area. We could even charge our phones in the outdoor plug! We were there during the heat wave (115 during the days and staying in the high 80s at night) which made it very hot inside the tent and a little hard to sleep at first, but we were camping after all. She did have a solar shower but wasn't able to set it up for us because the trees were too brittle from the heat to hang it from, so if that is important to you make sure you ask about it! Be prepared for a rustic but clean bathroom experience! Overall, it was a perfect spot for what we were looking for and we would go back again!

Respuesta de Mj:
Danny, thanks so much for your comments. I like your idea of a fan for the tent. Also, perhaps mattress covers would make the mattresses cooler to sleep on. Instructions on the mattresses state the new materials stretch with first use which may be why you needed to air them up. In any event I will be working to expand and improve the camping amenities and I value your input. Thanks for being such great guests! -Mj
