Perfil de usuario de Marguerite

Marguerite Iona Brady is a very passion, enthusiastic, knowledgeable Practitioner of many Natural Therapies including both Classical and African Reflexology, Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Ki Massage, Homeopathy, Certified Access Facilitator and shamanic practitioner. Marguerite first love in life helping people in need and got involved in working with the Famine in Ethiopia in 1984 when she was 15 years old making everyone aware of what was happening in Ethiopia and enlisting the help and support of 100's of people to help those devastated by the mammoth famine sweeping through Ethiopia. She helped in Ireland too by helping her Mother through an organisation called CURA to host many young pregnant girls coming isolated and alone to stay at her family home during the end stages of their pregnancy. Marguerite become a General Nurse in the Meath Hospital and from there specialized in Oncology Nursing in St. Luke's Hospital in Rathgar in Dublin. During her time as a Nurse in Dublin she witnessed first hand the emotional, psychological, physical, financial distress that so many people went through and she knew she needed to do something to assist them anyway she could . She studied Ki Massage in 1993 and she learnt so much about the acknowledging, honoring and supporting all aspects of a persons mind, body and soul , which she put to great use as a Cancer Nurse. Her true skills came out when dealing with those at end stage illness, going through the dying process itself and assisting grieving family post the loss of a loved one.
Marguerite's calling to look after the poorest of the poor found her working in Calcutta with Mother Teresa in 1995 and from there Marguerite worked as a Nurse in Africa, Australia and even for a short time in Malaysia, always seeking out nursing positions with the marginalized, isolated, poorest of poor groups in society. It was while working abroad that Marguerite's passion for all things natural took there roots in her and she became as passionate about learning and training in Holistic Medicine in order to be a better Nurse at the bedside of a dying person, a traumatized child, a mother in labor or with a father facing disability and unable to provide for his family. Little did she know that in February 2001 her beloved Father Seamus who succumb to leukemia and once again she brought all her conventional nursing skills and her natural medicine skills sets together to assist her Dad with severe bone pain, blood blisters, difficulty with movement, loss of energy, anxiety about leaving his wife and children behind. For many months Marguerite sat with her Dad listening and sitting quietly with him to help him adjust to the inevitable passing on June 1st 2001. Marguerite who had already had a very busy clinic in Natural Medicine in Dublin but after the passing of her father, she moved her practice to Loughrea in Co. Galway to be close to her grieving mother. She set up a practice in Loughrea and facilitated 100's of people dealing with all sort of mental, emotional, physical or spiritual challenges. She is available via appointments in loughrea and kinvara. Marguerite is married to Micheal and they have a little daughter.
"Life is a gift, enjoy it, embrace it, love it and be life to another"
