Great location and a lovely place. The owner, Leslie, was very helpful. There was a problem with the lock on our first night but that has now been fixed for all future guests. Was a great stay!

Overall it is a good place to stay, clean mostly, airy, high ceiling and good natural light throughout the property. Host need to pay attention to details to make it good value for money especially oven cleaning and uncomfortable sofa bed which is not suitable for 2 guests because half of the sofa bed slope outward which role you out of bed. I would say this property is not suitable for 4 guest due to sofa bed problem. Host texted us to take out any rubbish but to where home or dump in a street bin. There wasn't any bin provided outside the property to get ride of trash so we had to leave inside.

Hi Muhammad, I'm sorry to hear you found the sofa bed uncomfortable. There are legs under the sofa bed which come out if you unzip the sleave behind to stabilise it and make it into a proper sofa-bed, so it doesn't slope in the way you describe. Going forward, I will make sure guests are aware of this properly. Naturally, if you had an issue with the sofabed at the time, I would have been more than willing to help or show you it works being I only live up the road. Regarding rubbish, Brighton council restrict us to where we can place this so provide large bins on Saint James Street. This is common across the whole city because of the seagulls and people leaving rubbish in bags across the street would only cause more problems. Leslie

Leslie's place lived up to our expectations for the price. The flat is very clean and nicely decorated and everything works. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots and pans for cooking and coffee and tea-making equipment. The bedroom is at the back, and so nice and quiet for a couple, but as you would expect, the living room at the front is a bit noisy for a third guest and they have to walk through the bedroom to the bathroom. Leslie responded immediately to all my questions and was very helpful. Access with the set of keys was easy, and the flat is secure. I would definitely recommend the flat for a couple or family.

Great location, very accessible to the beach. The building is a bit old and gets noisy with uppe floor neighbors but otherwise it is a great place; Leslie is considerate and responsive to your needs. Would easily revisit this place next time again.

Leslie's place was the most perfect location for us...the sea is just at the end of the street, Kemptown is on your doorstep, and it just had everything you needed there. Would highly recommend.
