The tube journey from Russell Square Station to Piccadilly Circus is 5 mins. Check it out. It's actually 5 mins.

Russell Square station is a 5 min walk away. Kings Cross St Pancras is 10 minutes walk , if you're slow. With The Eurostar, you could be in Paris in 2 ½ hours flat, door to door.

The Brunswick Centre is literally over the road.

It may be franchise fulll, however it has all manner of restaurants: Carluccios, Giraffe, Strada, Yo Sushi, The Gourmet Burger Kitchen and a Nandos, as well as a Boots, Superdrug and most importantly, a Waitrose Superstore.

There's a 24 hour Tescos opposite the tube station.

Covent Garden has really come to life in the last 5 years- more than a tourist haven- a great place to eat, with more variety of cuisine than anywhere else on the planet. What's more, the restaurants are truly getting close to world class.

Notting Hill is 20 minutes aways by tube, 10 by cab (around £10-15 depending on the hour).

Clerkenwell is a lovely 10 minute walk (or 5 minutes by Barclays Bike- the local bike rental scheme).

If partying is your thing, we'd encourage you to make your way to Dalston. A 10-15 minute cab journey will have you drinking in the centre of youth culture in London. Likewaise, Hoxton and Shoreditch are 10 minutes away by cab (£10-12) or 20 minutes by tube.

Regents Park is 20minute walk.

Oxford Circus and Oxford Street and 15 mins walk (genuine) or a 5 min cab.

Hyde Park Corner? 8 minutes by Tube.
