This little cabin was built in the 50s as a get-away, and added on to in the 70s. It has acquired loads of character and charm over the years.
One bedroom, one full bath, small kitchen, sleeping for 2 additional guests in shared spaces, washer & dryer, wifi, a beautiful lot with big old pine trees and wildlife.
Quiet location close to town, bike path, golf course, and shuttle routes.
A mile from downtown but feels like you are out in the woods. This is a quiet neighborhood, with lots of trees and wildlife. Great for evening walks with kids.
The property cannot accommodate large RVs due to the narrow passage through trees on the driveway.

We are more than happy to answer questions about things to do and where to eat in Estes Park.

Mountain living means living with wildlife. In Estes Park, bears can cause a lot of damage, so there are regulations in place to keep bears and humans safe. We provide a regulation bear-proof trash can for our guests. It is located outside the kitchen door. If you need to take out the trash, the bags need to be placed in that trash can, and then securely shut.
Living in a high dry climate requires caution around the use of outdoor fires. We do not provide a fire pit, because most of the year we are under open fire restriction or fire ban. Please be aware of the danger associated with outdoor open fires in an area prone to wildfires during dry and windy conditions.
And, living in Colorado means marijuana is legal. However, our town passed an ordinance banning its sale inside city limits, so if you want to buy it, you will have to go to Lyons or Loveland.
Possession of pot in Rocky Mountain National Park, which is federal land, is illegal.
We don't permit smoking inside our cabin, regardless of the substance.
Must use the provided bear-proof trash can for any trash left outside the house.
There is a fire ban in effect, so we have a very strict rule regarding NO FIRES.
Durante el período del 01 de Junio de 2018 - 31 de Agosto de 2018 la estancia mínima es de 3 noches.
I'm pretty lucky to get to live and raise my family in the beautiful mountain community of Estes Park. I love to travel, but never get tired of my daily views of the Great Divide and Rocky Mountain National Park.
I enjoy hanging out with my 3 teenagers, listening to my husband play with his bluegrass band, walking my dogs, and camping out at music festivals.
I have lived in Estes Park since 1997. I was a teacher before we started our family. Now I work in our flooring store, do freelance bookkeeping, teach Crossfit, and am on the catering staff at a local steak house.
I'm most excited about instilling in my children a sense of adventure. I went to Spain with my daughter this year, and hope to take my older son to Uruguay this coming year.
