A large, bright aparment in the center of Prague, at a walking distance from the historical centre. At the border between the historical center, the bourgeois district and the alternative/underground district. The flat is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance from most major sites, as well as extremely convenient as to public transportation. The three lines of metro of Prague are within 3-5mn walking distance (Mº IP Pavlova, Muzeum, and Namesti Miru), as well as a large number of day and night tram lines (the busiest hub of transport in Prague is at a 3mn walk). Night or day, walking or using transportation, you will never be very far from the flat. This is something I personally appreciate a lot in those cold central-european winters. It's a reconstructed flat with high ceilings and lots of light. There is secure WiFi, a furnished kitchen and large corner bath. You will have a large room with lots of light in summer (evening sun). large room where there are 2 double beds. In the living room sofa bed. The flat is on a high 4 floor with no direct not elevator. there are windows on both the east and west side of the flat. All this makes the flat bright, so even in winter, the light condition is still pretty good. Some extras available: - Free Coffee/Tea - Free miscellaneous soaps The flat is located at the border of the touristic staroměstka and the bourgeois area of Vinhorady, and a few minutes walking away from the bohemian žizkov. All three areas are worth spending time, depending on your particular tastes and length of stay. The touristic area is of course a must, but if you stay more than 3 days, I encourage you to venture to those neighbouring districts. Going into details : The flat is about 5-10mn walking from the National Opera and Wenceslas Square, Prague's cultural and commercial centre. The statue of St. Wenceslas, symbol of the Czech nation, dominates the square. The main National Museum building is located at the upper end of Wenceslas Square. Here you can view a variety of permanent and temporary exhibitions. A pleasant 30 minute walk will take you up to a hill dominated by the Prague Castle via Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square with its famous Astronomical Clock, the Jewish Quarter and Charles Bridge or from Wenceslas Square, you can head down Národní třída to the National Theatre. A short 3mn walk in the opposite direction will bring you to náměstí Míru (Peace Square), dominated by the Church of St. Ludmila. A bit further, on náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad (George of Podebrady Square), you'll find the modern Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The nearby park, Riegrovy sady, is a great place to relax and get some fresh air. In summer this is a great place with great beer, food, and people. In the side streets surrounding the flat, you can find many restaurants and bars where you can not only have a delicious meal, but also enjoy a pleasant evening out. I can highly recommend U sádlů, Balbínova poetická hospůdka, the pub Pastička, and Kaaba for some nice place to chill after a long day of walk. Right below the flat is 3 restaurants. In streat Mamma Coffe, or Vegan restaurant Loving hut. If you'd like to get a bird's-eye view of Prague, you can visit the nearby Žižkov Tower with its viewing gallery (spectacular) and restaurant (less spectacular). But there are so many more to cover. So don't hesitate to ask if you have any specific taste.
