The review left by Daniela is a pathetic attempt of tarnish my reputation as a host... strange how she says she will never be back considering I had to get Airbnb to ask her to vacate the property 2 days prior to her check out date, due to her disgusting behaviour, her rudeness and lack of respect for me or my property. She then asked if she could at least stay 1 more day in order to sort out alertantive accommodation, which I refused.
- Broken beside glass lamp leaving the glass everywhere.
- left a big crack going down the front of the bedroom wardrobe.
- left several scratch scuffs on the flooring beside the bed.
- broke the runner on one of the chest of drawers
- removed a spring from the back of the remote control.
She left dirty knickers and socks near the toilet and behind the sofa.
As for the broken shower?? There was no such thing. She reported the shower being broken, when I asked her to confirm what exactly was the issue her response was it’s just broken...odd as it was in perfect working order before her arrival. Anyhow, I had someone attend to look at getting it fixed...turned out that the only issue was the shower head was facing down and needed to be repositioned upwards slightly so that the water was flowing directly rather than towards the wall.
In the same message she wrote to report the “broken” shower she also said that the kitchen isn’t fully equipped as I never had a chopping board or big knives.
I then sources a brand new chopping board and knife block and knives and got them dropped off to her within 2 hours of her message.
A few days later the broadband had an issue which I was unable to deal with over the phone as they wanted to speak with someone at the property in order to run diagnostics with the router... it was obvious she didn’t want to be speaking with anyone and just wanted it sorted so I drove 80km the very next day to sort it out. I messaged her half an hour before my arrival and that’s when her true character came to light - She sent me a message saying how rude it is of me to assume I can come to flat before asking her before hand, and that I can attend when she’s not at the property and how as a paying guest, she shouldn’t have to be involved in Broadband issues.
After this message I contacted Airbnb to inform them of the situation and to advise the guest that she must cooperate with me in order to get the issue resolved ASAP.
I also sent her a very message reminding her that she is a paying guest and not a tenant, which means that it’s within my right to request access to the property to without issuing 24hours notice, I informed her that I politely reminded her that I have travelled 80km in order to sort it out and can’t wait at the neighbours house for much longer as I have work and other commitments to attend to. Her response was: “AS I´m PAYING GUEST you should be doing what you need to do and have everything working as it should be
I don’t give a f#%k about your commitments and work. I’m paying for something and YOU should have it working”
That message was the final straw and having seen the state of the property and finding the heating on full blast with all window wide open was why I wanted her out that night.
