Otros aspectos destacables

The neighborhood is pretty quite, but if you’re truly looking for peace and quiet, this might not be the place for you as we are in the city so you can expect a certain level of noise. It’s also probably worth mentioning that Dublin City Tipi is adjacent to a railway line so expect the occasional train passing which in fact might the highlight of your stay if you are lucky enough to experience a steam train passing up close!

You are not going to have the tranquility of camping in the middle of nowhere.
You are in a Tipi one mile from the center of a busy city although it is a hell of a lot quieter than any ‘Quiet Camping Zone’ at any festival I’ve ever been to.

Earplugs are provided.
You might even be shocked at how surprisingly still the city can get at night.

I’d like to see more of this type of set up around Dublin and elsewhere, if anyone is interested, I’m happy to consult.

RUN, DON'T WALK. You must stay here! You will never come across something like this again. I'm not a very adventurous traveler but this was well worth it. Our host thought of everything!!! He is a designer and you could tell immediately. Everything was so comfortable- outdoor oasis. There was a kitchen with beverages (water, tea, coffee, juice, beer), a beautifully renovated bathroom, a safe/lock box for personal items, wonderful outdoor living room with plenty of space to move around (candles, fire pit, fire starter!). The host was also so kind and hospitable. He offered to hold our bags prior to check in so we could explore the city. I was a little worried about getting cold at night but there was a heater in the Teepee and I brought my long-johns. The train nearby was loud at times but I'm a heavy sleeper so I did not see it as an inconvenience (plus he provided ear plugs if needed). Overall this stay was an 11/10. I would absolutely stay again. Heck, I would invite the host to Texas to build me a teepee if I could!

Wow - what a great place. It's not just a teepee either, it's basically the whole of a very cool back garden. Ciaran gave us a warm welcome and we were astonished - throughout our brief stay - by the thought he'd put in as a host and the little touches to make our stay so comfortable. We wish it had been longer so we could have enjoyed an evening around the chimenea. The teepee is an easy 5 minute bus ride (or probably 15 min walk) from the centre of Dublin and a 2 minute walk from the bus stop. Of course, being a teepee you can hear the rain / wind at night and have to walk about 3 metres to the loo/shower but for us that was part of the experience and there is something pretty special about waking up in a teepee. We would stay again without hesitation. Loved it.

What an experience! Ciaran's Top was the best place we have ever stayed. We had the feel of camping but with every modern necessity. Every time we went to reach for something Ciaran had already thought of it. The kitchenette and shower room were luxurious. Really creative. All the fixings for a wee fire or bbq were outside. It'd be a wonderful spot for a summer bbc. However, it rained for us. We snugly wrapped up in the warm dry Tipi listening to the far off sounds of the city. The local costcutter did a tasty breakfast roll and local pub Cusacks and the brew bar in Fairview are good spots. Great stay. Ciaran couldn't have been more helpful. We'd love to come back.

Bien dans l'ensemble , très atypique ! Tout est extrêmement bien aménagé , agréablement surprise. Seul bémol le train est juste au dessus de nous ! Bruit régulier

This is the perfect place of a unique experience in the heart of Dublin. Ciaran is a thoughtful host with an attention to details that made our night memorable. We weren't bothered by the train as it stops quite early. The outdoor terrace is lovely too for a dinner al fresco.
