Two kms above this charming village, with 180 degree views to the sunny south, this is a peaceful haven. 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms provide ample space for up to 7. Enjoy country walks, lazing by the pool, and outings to villages, lakes or seaside
We found this spot just above the picturesque village of Bargemon and fell in love with the views. By 2005, we had built the house, and have been working on the outdoor area when we can ever since, but it is still almost wild, with old dry stone walls and impressive oak woods below and a wild meadow between the house and the road, with wilderness beyond. Don't be surprised if you see or hear wild boars, as the land is (URL HIDDEN) very peaceful and light, and the location midway between seaside and mountains is ideal for us. The views to the south are stunning, but there are also impressive vistas upward to the nearby Col du Bel Homme. There is ample space for at least 7 people and 3 or more cars.
Disponible para huéspedes
The driveway to the house is accessed directly from the D25. The house has a large terrace overlooking the views. Beyond it, is a long quite steep Mediterranean flower bed (care is needed with young children). The small L-shaped pool is to one side, close to the house - ideal for quick dips and deep enough in parts for adults as well as enjoyable for children. The rest of the garden is steep and stony in places, but ideal for wandering in. There is good shade under some of the larger trees.
Atención a los huéspedes
We spend a lot of our time in Cambridge where we are based, so it's unlikely we will meet unless we are just leaving when you arrive (or vice versa). However, we are happy to communicate as much as you wish by e-mail and phone.

I'm French but have lived in England for many years. I'm retired now but previously worked in libraries here in Cambridge. I enjoy looking after our granddaughter, who is an active toddler, and one of the reasons we spend less time at our lovely home in Bargemon. I'm interested in art and art history so have been visiting Italy recently. Having grown up in Vietnam and lived in Cameroon and Mexico as well as Europe, and having visited Peru, India, Japan, China and countries in southeast Asia, I suppose I qualify as a citizen of the world! But there's nowhere like our place in Provence.
