Lovely apt with 14 foot ceilings and exposed plaster walls right in the middle of the French Qtr and the Garden Dist., walking distance attractions, and wonderful food and drink options within one block. Separate entrance and entire floor of 1850s brick townhouse.
I own the home, and along with my partner Dave, live on the first floor of the building with our two dogs. We're very thankful to you for staying with us, as your money goes back into the bldg by paying for its continuing restoration!

El lugar

Old 1850s brick townhouse located on the edge of the Lower Garden District. The apartment is romantic, full of antiques, and has a super comfy king size bed.
If you love food, you are within walking distance of some great restaurants located either uptown on Magazine Street or downtown in the Warehouse District / CBD.
There is a lovely bar right next door, an awesome coffee shop right across the street and a microbrewery with half a block. You are just a 20 minute walk to the French Quarter as well.
I own this house, live in the building, and do all the booking, communication and cleaning myself so I'm here to make your stay as great as possible with a a personal touch! Your stay funds the renovation of this building so thanks for considering this for your stay in New Orleans.

Disponible para huéspedes

This apartment is the entire second floor of the building. The street is accessed via a shared hallway.

By far the best place we’ve ever stayed! Between the amazing hospitality Lindsey offered, the beautiful room, and the wonderful shops down Magazine (URL HIDDEN) just doesn’t get any better! We biked every day we were there and enjoyed the wonderful coffee shop across the street every morning. My husband is still talking about how good the coffee was! Lindsey was there to accommodate us with any needs we had and was always super sweet and helpful. We can’t wait to come back and have already decided this will be a yearly tradition. You won’t be disappointed!

Lindsey was great with correspondence beforehand and throughout my stay. The space was super cool. There's something great about stepping into history and seeing the love being breathed back into it. I enjoyed just looking at the room, but it was very comfy too! : ]

Restored building. Urban chic. Very unique. Fairly quiet location but walkable to upper Garden District, museums, and restaurants. Host was great and facilitated check-in and check-out. Worth the price, and would stay again.

I'm Lindsey and I own this house that was finished in 1865 shortly after the end of the Civil War. It had been abandoned for about 5 years before I bought it. My hope is to restore it to its original condition and I’m hoping to use the money from renting it for just that purpose... So thanks for choosing to stay here during your trip to New Orleans!
