Lightly furnished at this point so great for couples looking to explore Ottawa's many points of interest and festivals such as the Jazzfest, Chamber Music, Blues etc, and come home and have a relaxing good night's sleep. If there are specific things you wish to have there, just ask and we are happy to try to get it for you.

You may use the whole property during your stay though many rooms are only lightly furnished at this point. We have outdoor area under a tree canopy for our very rustic backyard woodland which is currently being prepared for a patio installation. Many great spaces to do home yoga or just relax with a book :)

Silence and quiet time are often a part of life that we are too busy to get. Here at Gilmour you can enjoy a good book or game or your own music through Logitech speakers that you can plug in from your phone or Ipad or laptop computer though now at Gilmour there is no t.v. or internet but many hotspots to use in the area.
Please take care of our home as if it were yours. Please remove shoes inside. No smoking. No pets. No drugs or other illegal activities. No large parties or events. Furnishings for children could be supplied and set up with a few days notice. City of Ottawa compost and recycle bins have been provided for your use. (Schedule provided in House Manual).
