Our home is an awesome place to hang out (ok, we are biased). Some parts are starting to look pretty slick, some are still original (70s). It is super comfy- two living rooms, lots of light, big sectional couches. It's full of original art, with big views over Dartmouth. If you like a funky, comfy lived-in vibe, you will feel right at home. Everyone is welcome, regardless of race, gender, etc.
The house is not childproofed, but children are welcome. Animals welcome too, but ask that you not leave creatures that suffer from separation anxiety alone- not fair on them, us or the neighbours!
Allergy alert- A dog lives here, and there are two wood-burning fireplaces.
We are on a hill, and there are stairs to the front door so if you have mobility challenges, this is not a good fit for you.
Disponible para huéspedes
You will have full use of the house (2 living rooms, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, backyard) with the exception of two rooms we keep locked. We don't have a t.v., but there is a large flatscreen monitor that you can hook a laptop up to.
Atención a los huéspedes
We may or may not be able to meet you, but will set everything up with you to gain access, and will happily make ourselves available to answer questions or concerns.

Passionate about music and the arts, fascinated by nature and people, I am often described as an optimist and a diplomat. I believe in people, not a god or gods, but respect others' beliefs. Life is about people being decent to each other, and I think, more often than not, they are.
I enjoy cultures different than my own but haven't traveled near enough and hope to fix that during this last half of my life. Ah, yes!
As a guest I will be respectful, friendly and responsible. I would expect the same in my host, (and also expect a reasonable level of cleanliness.) As a host, I will do my best to make you feel at home and be comfortable. I will be accessible and happy to offer recommendations to help you have an awesome time in our beautiful province.

"Let's do this!"
"Life is too short for bad music."
p.s. I love animals. Oh, and good food.
