A sunny, spacious and clean 1 bedroom in the heart of the East Village is the perfect place to explore the city and enjoy your time in Manhattan. A quick walk to the Williamsburg Bridge, and walking distance to the Lower East Side, Brooklyn, Soho and Nolita.
Stay at our light filled, high ceiling, hard wood floor large 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of the East Village of Manhattan.
Our apartment is a newly renovated, clean, large sun-filled 1 bedroom with a full size bed and a down comforter. East and South facing large windows wash the apartment in lots of great morning and afternoon sunlight, flat screen tv, internet, hardwood floors, a well equipped open air kitchen & full bath, and air conditioning for the summer months. Perfect for couples or singles.
Please note, while the apartment is located on a cross street, for the light sleeper, the local traffic and city sounds might be a little loud for those unaccustomed to city sounds. I provide brand new earplugs and eye masks for every guest to ensure a sound and solid nights sleep for everyone.
The calendar is updated regularly and inquiries are responded to promptly.
I collect vintage textiles and antiques from my travels around the world which adds a unique charm to this great city apartment.
Beautiful historic Tompkins Square Park is just blocks away and anchors the colorful diversity of the neighborhood. The East Village abounds with a bar and cafe culture unmatched in other parts of Manhattan.
Everything you will need is provided. Towels, linens, toiletries, umbrellas if it rains, etc. All you have to do is show up, relax and enjoy this great city.
The building is heated in winter by steam heat. The pipes can rattle when hot water is flowing thru them but don't worry, it's common in East Village and Lower East Side buildings. Additionally, the water temperature in the shower can be temperamental and can go from hot to cold suddenly - unfortunately, this is due to the building pipes and not much the individual apartments can do about it.
Weekends can be noisy. That's what happens when you're surrounded by amazing bars and wonderful restaurants.

We love our apartment and travel frequently and want to give people a chance to enjoy New York, our beautiful space, and treat it like their home. Just leave it as you found it and give us any tips on how to make our home even better for people to have a great time in New York.
If you could kindly water the plants to keep them green and alive it would be greatly appreciated. They are succulents and do not require a lot of attention.
- No street shoes in the apartment.
- Cooking is fine and encouraged, but please keep things tidy and wash all your dishes.
- Please strip the bed linens and put the towels in a corner on the floor
- Please take out the trash and recycling when leaving
Regarding check in & check out times - for days I have same day turnover, the check in/out time is fairly strict so it allows time for us to clean the apartment and get it ready for the next guest. However, we try to accommodate all, so please email with any questions.
Born and raised in the East Village of Manhattan, I lived in California for 10 years, but moved back to NYC to be closer to my family, who all still live in Manhattan.
While in California, I lived in Santa Barbara and San Fransisco designing for Patagonia and The North Face.
I am currently the Men's Designer and travel a lot of work.
I love to get outside, eat good food and enjoy good company.
