We had an amazing stay. The hosts were very helpful and the apartment was definitely family-friendly. Very comfortable & we loved all of the natural light on the second floor!
Wonderful space. Spacious upstairs bedroom and a full kitchen. Good, central location. Jean and her husband were great hosts and even let us borrow their blender. They were great!
Great hosts, no reliable A/C, solution was to close blinds.. No wifi on second floor of rented home. Good location.

Joshua-- A review that says “no reliable A/C” and "no wi-fi," it is a Huge Red Flag. In the case of our home, it is inaccurate and unwarranted. During the four days you were here, I messaged you twice to check in; you replied that things were fine. We stood right outside the door chatting in the driveway three times--you never mentioned it. Your girlfriend came over twice to tell me the latest on the hurricane and to ask questions about Wilmington—yet she never said a word about the AC. Chris talked to you both more than once as well. We live here. We are constantly here—nextdoor, literally 30 feet away—and you never said a word about the AC (or the wi-fi, for that matter). I was shocked when you told me--literally as you were packing to leave--that you were having trouble operating the AC. Why in the world did you wait to tell us that? When Chris went next door just after you left, he pushed a couple of buttons and it was up and running fine within moments. You should have simply asked—that’s one of the things you are paying a host for. And regarding the wi-fi? This brief review you wrote is the first time I have heard Word One about that. A review is not the place for your host to learn for the very first time that you don’t have a signal (again, something that takes a couple of minutes to fix). We can’t fix it if we don’t know. As a guest, the impetus was on you to tell us if you had a problem (gotta say it again—these things could have been fixed in literally two minutes if you had told us during your four-day stay.) Why should we have a mark on our record because of your lack of communication on this issue? To be sure: We are reliable people, the AC works perfectly, and the wi-fi is just fine as well.
