In the foothills of the Macedon Ranges, the bush and its wildlife are just up the road. The village is on your doorstep with shops and restaurants, parks, a lake and a railway station. The beautiful Macedon Ranges are your backdrop. Walk a few minutes up the road to meet the local kangaroos. You’ll love the country cottage feel, the garden and the peace and quiet. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends. Dogs just love going for walks here.
The cottage has an open plan kitchen/living/sitting area. The kitchen has an electric oven/hob, dishwasher and microwave. There’s a wood fireplace (firewood supplied) as well as a split system air conditioner in the living area and electric heaters in the bedroom, office and bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen size bed. The office has a desk, printer and sofa, and can be converted to a second bedroom with a small double sofabed. Bathroom has shower over bath and a toilet, and there's a second toilet off the laundry. Washing machine, tumble drier, ironing board and iron in laundry.

Atención a los huéspedes
Our home is available to you because we're travelling, so we won't be there to greet you. However I have family in Riddells Creek who are on hand to give any assistance you may need.

If this is the case, after you book you will receive a request for an additional $25.
The bathroom has an over-bath shower which requires climbing into/out of the bath. This may not be suitable for elderly/mobility impaired guests.
- Please respect our neighbours - no noise or anti-social behaviour
- Please leave our home as you found it, and please do not smoke inside.
- The old shed out the back lends a rustic feel, so enjoy looking - but it's out of bounds so please don’t enter.
Mike and I love to travel and we've been seeing the world with airbnb for several years now, enjoying stays in London, New York and Tokyo. We've had such great experiences with airbnb, we decided to try hosting so that we can share our home in Riddells Creek with guests when we are travelling ourselves. I work part time for a charity foundation that supports young Australians with acquired brain injury, and when I'm in Australia I work from home, but I can do my work from anywhere so the job travels with me. My family have lived in Riddells Creek for many years and I grew up there. I moved away overseas for a time, but was eventually drawn back to the village on returning to Australia, and perhaps our guests will understand why. We love our little cottage and its garden, and we hope guests will enjoy everything we like about it. We are generally travelling when our home is available for guests, so my sister and my niece, both of whom live in the village, will take care of everything for our guests. We look forward to sharing our home with you and hope you love it as much as we do.
