Renovated DIY-style house with large living space and two bedrooms. 10 minutes from the airport, less than 10 minutes to the izakaya street, 14 minutes to maehama beach. Enough parking space for two cars in front. Quiet neighborhood. Good place for people on a budget or families. There are two beds but if extra people came with sleeping bags there would be more than plenty space for them to sleep.
The house is old. It was literally in ruins when we found it. With our limited budget, we patched it up, painted it, torn down walls and built new ones. We changed the toilet to a modern one, the kitchen too. Everything was made with reclaimed wood and appliances (except for the bedding and washing machine).
The ceiling is high and all the wood gives it a cabin feel to it, very cozy. Both rooms have their own ''themes'' and charms.
Atención a los huéspedes
I'm there for check ins and check outs. If ever I'm not available, my partner will be. And if we're both busy for some reason, we'll give you the password to the lock on the front door so you can check in by yourself.

The house is old, and we did our best to make it comfortable and homey, but sometimes the roof leaks a bit in the living room, not a big deal really. And the place is called Gecko House for a reason; As this is Okinawa, there are geckos all around. Some of them find their way inside the house, but all they do it eat bugs, and they just hang out on the walls, so really they're there to help :)
Absolutely no smoking. At check out, the place must be as it was it was during check in (dishes done), trash properly separated as indicated). No shoes indoors, of course.
