I really tried in my review to Robyn, to remain as positive as I could in order to be a good host as I portrayed during all face to face and written communication with her. It was difficult for me hence my one line review. But honestly, my first impression of Robyn when I met her in the lobby was she is extremely abrasive (bordering rude). I found this extremely uncomfortable. Robyn also made a comment just before I left the apartment during checkin, which I knew exactly what she was referring to, which I was extremely offended by. Her girlfriend Melissa on the other hand, was the complete oppose to Robyn but not enough to make up for Robyn's bad attitude. I am a seasoned AirBnB guest and I have stayed with AirBnB hosts literally around the world (as is clearly evident by my numerous AirBnB reviews about me as a guest). So, I know what standards to adhere to for a good experience. I am also asthmatic and use an asthma inhaler. So, I too am very sensitive to the environment I live in. This is why I personally spent about 4.5 hours prior to Robyn's arrival dusting, disinfecting with bleach infused cleaning products the entire apartment (including ALL surfaces and the FLOOR in the apartment). I have never used my inhaler once since I moved into this apartment two month ago. I was honestly dreading meeting Robyn to pickup the keys, but thankfully it was a very quick interaction. Considering Robyn's "high cleaning standards", the state of the apartment could have been significantly better considering how CLEAN it was when she checked in. I had to spent an additional hour more than what I did cleaning prior to her arrival, to get the apartment ready for the next guest. Even if Robyn's review was 100% positive, I would never accept her as a guest in any of my apartments in the future, which is why in my response to AirBnB question ‘Would I recommend this guest to other hosts’ in the review process as a host, my response what “NO”.
