Lovely penthouse apartment, with panoramic views, overlooking the center of old Kas . Close to shopping, swimming and dining. Air condition, wireless Internet access and two large terraces with sun beds.

Guest review: ”This is the most incredible apartment. Sensational views, perfect location and so well equipped - it has absolutely everything you’d need, and it’s all really beautiful quality. The dual aspect view over the sea must be the best in Kas! ”

Ubicación

Kaş, Provincia de Antalya, Turquía

Surroundings–tings to do It is very nice to take the short boat ride over to the Greek Island of Kastelorizo that you can see from the balcony of the flat (off season they don’t go every day, check with any of the tour operators around the harbor square). It's also nice to take a boat across the bay to Limanagzi, they leave regularly from the harbor during the tourist season (good for children as the beaches over there are sandy and the water is shallow). You can walk to Limanagzi too on part of the long distance walking route the Lycian way that runs from Fethiye to Antalya. You start by walking to big pebble beach and then follow the red and white striped signs. If you want to do this I recommend that you first look in the book The Lycian way that should be in the apartment. Patara, the beach and the excavation site are great too. We also like to just walk up the mountain in Kas. Follow the old Kas serpentine road that ends where the new road goes by and cross it and walk up the mountain road on the other side. You can also reach it by walking up the steps outside the apartment and then follow the road above that leads in to the çerçiler village, follow the road that turns left though (the one that does not lead directly in to the village). More Beaches Little Pebble Beach There is a tiny pebbly beach in town a few minutes walk from the apartment. On both sides of the beach there are restaurants and beach platforms with access to the water and with “free” sunbeds (the owners expect you to buy drinks, meals, or snacks). You can use these at any time. You can also find other, same type of beach clubs along the waterside in Kas. A 15-20 minute walk takes you to Big pebble beach, the same system there with ”free” sunbeds. The pretty sand/pebble coves Limanaĝzi Bay are accessible on foot or by water taxi from the harbor. On, and on the way to the Kas Peninsula, there are several beaches. The closest is about 15 minutes away by foot from the harbor square. On the way, you pass the amphitheater. If you continue on the road that leads out onto the Peninsula, you will find a new public (halk) beach to the left with all services; it’s also cheaper than the other beaches. Further out before the road divides, you’ll find Blanca beach, take the little curvy road that leads down to Hidayit koyu (Hidayit bay) a bit too far for walking but the public bus that traffic the peninsula stops nearby and to take a taxi only costs about 20 Lira. And there is more, but now you must have wheels of some sort: Turn left at the junction and follow the road (Demokrasi Cadessi) for a couple of kilometers, look for a sign that says hotel Hadrian and turn left there. At the bottom of the road, there is a large beaches shared by the hotels. Pass this beach some hundred meters and you will find a sign that points at Diva Beach. Diva Beach Along the Kalkan road, after the new marina, there are also a few beaches. They are also a bit too far away for walking, but you can easily reach them by bus (dolmus) that runs every half hour. Beautiful Kaputas beach is about a 20 minutes drive or bus ride away in the direction of Kalkan. Further away, you find the sandy and wide stretched Patara beach. It’s part of a natural park and also an ancient site with many significant finds. The area is protected by law and very beautiful, and it's worthwhile paying the entrance to see the area. Adventures Besides the more typical excursions to Myra, Patara, Kekova, Sakklikent, etc., there are also lots of sports activities on offer in Kas: Hiking, sea-kayaking, paragliding, scuba- diving, biking, jeep safaris, canyoning horse back riding and more.
