This is a half duplex basement suite and is bright and furnished. You will have your own equipped kitchen, laundry and privacy.

It's an EXCELLENT walking neighbourhood called Bowness and is within seconds to restaurants, pub, bank, coffee shop and library. Steps from a bus stop. River, parks and biking/walking trails all within a 10min walk. 5 mins to Canada Olympic Park (COP), close to Calaway Park, climbing gym and about as close to the mountains as you can get in the city.

El alojamiento
This is a basement in a half duplex (attached) house.

There is only a side door to the house. We will use the same door to get into a common entrance-way but that is all that is shared. Both suites are completely separate.

Acceso para huéspedes
The basement suite is all yours. I try to be there to welcome you and hand over a key, however, if I'm not able, the keys will be kept in a lockbox and instructions will be emailed before your arrival.

Otros aspectos destacables
There are stairs as soon as you open the door to the entrance and the landing is pretty small. Please exercise caution with luggage, especially.

The laundry is in your space. If you stay beyond 5 days, we will make arrangements to come down to do our laundry according to your schedule. Please bring your own laundry detergent/products.

The kitchen is equipped with a cooktop for boiling and frying, a toaster oven for baking/roasting (everything but a whole turkey basically!) coffee maker, kettle and all pots/pans/utensils, etc. If there is something you need beyond this, we have everything upstairs so please ask us.

We live upstairs and are a fairly routine, hard-working , but lively family. We both work full time, but we are usually home outside typical work hours.

This is an active neighborhood full of amenities/restaurants, pubs, yoga studios and library etc. It's very close to Shouldice Park which has running trails, playground, tennis courts and basketball. It’s right along the river. We are also up the street from Bowness Park, which has canoeing/paddle boating, a beautiful little hike, picnic tables and a few playgrounds.

The Bow River runs through our community and we are right on the highway that takes you to the mountains. Canmore is about 45min from the house, and Banff is about 120km away. The highway to get there is just up the street, literally 3min drive. Depending on your speed, it will take you about 1hr 10min from here to Banff.

Calaway Park (amusement park for kids) - Under 10min drive, Canada Olympic Park COP (inner city ski hill, mountain biking, luge, zip line etc)- 3min drive, Calgary Climbing Centre (indoor climbing gym for kids and adults) 5min drive.
