Abbie's Waterfall Treehouse with its abundance of windows, is nestled on a hillisde near a creek on the Hemlock Farm, where a small passel of animals and the main family reside in a log cabin. Private treehouse with a view of the creek and waterfall; short walk takes you to bathroom. Rear of the property accesses the national forest for hiking in a serene and rarely used portion of the mountains. The treehouse is heated and sealed, so you'll enjoy during all seasons.

El alojamiento
All of the commonly touches areas in our properties are disinfected as the last step in the cleaning process.

Abbie's Waterfall Treehouse is an octagon structure with wrap around windows located just off the creek at Hemlock Farm. You can watch the trickling water from your bed and it is designed to offer you privacy. Located just off the creek you'll be lulled to sleep by the trickling of the stream and waterfall just outside your window. You'll have access to the treehouse bathroom, which features running water and is shared by all three treehouses.

Glamping - Going camping, but with glamour. A combination of the two words. It's like regular camping , but with nicer things than usual, being warmer, and more comfortable. Glamping isn't done by usual outdoor types who climb mountains.

Treehouses are glamping experiences and as such here’s what you can expect:

Comfy beds, k cup coffee brewers, microwave, heated mattress pads, real furniture and radiator heaters, real furniture - dresser, beds, chairs and electricity.

You should probably avoid treehouses if you…

1. Don’t enjoy temps outside the normal range for your home.
2. If you don’t like walking back to the woods to enjoy your treehouse. Although we do have a battery operated cart for you to use to take your bags to the treehouse when you arrive.
3. Don’t want to walk to the main cabin to use a flushing toilet and or take a shower.
4. If the idea that the treehouses are not completely sealed and you may occasionally see a critter trying to move in, although we do try and keep them out, upsets you.

If you enjoy the woods, nature, being away from city noise then you may just enjoy a stay in one of our treehouses.

The treehouse is equipped with a microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator, but doesn't have running water. There is drinking water and a camp toilet for quick night runs. The showering facilities and parking area are a short walk away and shared by all three treehouses.

Here is what others have said about their glamping experience with us:

“If you are looking for a place to escape into the mountains, this is it! The treehouse is situated right above a small (2'-3') waterfall that provides ambient noise and a beautiful view. It is tucked away behind the main house and is about a 3 minute walk. There are motion sensor lights the whole way so getting around after sunset is no problem. The room is spacious with a good bed, dresser, multiple lights, coffee maker, fan, and books.”

“Welcoming, peaceful and calm. A quiet place with a stream running right outside. Great hospitality.”

“Joni’s waterfall treehouse was incredible! It is such a nice getaway in the middle of a National Forest. It’s such a unique, clean, comfortable place to stay! You have everything you need while being fully immersed in nature. We would definitely love to come back next time we find ourselves in Georgia!”

Pets are allowed pending approval. We will approve animals after we exchange a few emails and establish what exactly you are bringing and make sure you clearly understand the pet rules. There is also a $50 pet fee.

I am the mother of four and we try to live as minimalist a life as we can in our gap of the mountains. We like the fresh air and the green rolling land. Our animals and guests are our passion and we like introducing others to this beautiful part of Georgia. I am a native of Miami, but only get to renew my soul with visits to the clear water of that area from time to time. My hobbies include photography, gardening, hiking, jogging and cycling.
