Beautiful spot with stunning views. The farm was a hive of activity and had a nice informal feel. Our booking was very late in the day (just two days before) but despite this, Geoff was very quick to respond to questions and accommodate our special check in request. Possibly a little pricey for two people and a dog but would certainly recommend for larger groups. Thank you.

The location is lovely - beautiful views of the sea and woodland. The accommodation was clean and stylish , and the farm was lovely to wander around. Peggy the Pig and Ted the Dog were friendly favourites. The only negative was that, because it is a working farm, there was a considerable amount of noise from rehooving the horses outside our bedroom windows before 9am, which would have been nice to be warned about. Apart from that, lovely stay and friendly staff. Would happily return.

The cottage was great with view of a big field right at the door step. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well-equipped.

The site is a farm on the elevated outskirts of Swansea, access is via a housing estate and a steep, rough track. Horseshoe cottage has good views over Swansea bay via big windows. It has a quite spacious living/dining area, which is well equipped, though - strangely - the TV wouldn't receive BBC1: but we don't go on holiday to watch the telly, do we? The battery cover on the TV remote was broken and loose also. Cleanliness was pretty good though the leather setters and chair are very stained. My biggest grumble is that the beds are cheap and hard. I had great difficulty getting comfortable and my partner had a very restless night. The ensuite bathroom in the main bedroom is very tiny and cramped and - so often seen - the shelf above the basin is positioned perfectly so as to contact one's head when bending to rinse one's face when shaving. Ouch. Internal doors are secured with a Suffolk latch at some height which served to incarcerate one of my small grandchildren when the door was pushed shut. Could be a problem, think. The heating was on when we were there and was very noisy at night. Thankfully, I was able to switch it off. The small gate to the garden enclosure is supported by a broken fence. This fell onto one of the kids, fortunately not causing and injury on that occasion. Overall, our stay of 2 nights was OK but at over £500 I consider it over priced, even for the last week of July. I can't fault the attitude of the staff - they were polite and helpful.

Respuesta de Geoff:
Hi Ian, Thank you for your review. We take feedback seriously and will act on your comments. We apologise for the broken fence, it would seem one of our horses may have kicked it recently. Thank you for letting us know, we are fixing it as soon as the materials arrive. We are sorry that Horseshoe Cottage did not meet your expectations and we hope we see you again to improve your opinion. Again, thank you for staying with us and thank you for your honest and thorough feedback, it is important to us.
