We were visiting our daughter at the University of Adelaide, and the location was perfect. There is a great little coffee shop IN THE BUILDING, and lots of great restaurants, shopping and attractions very close by. All good.

Great location and communication was great. A very quiet apartment which was great to have when staying in the heart of the city. A few minor “ cleanliness “ issues but that won’t stop us from staying there again....all in all highly recommended!!

Excellent location. Self check in details were not sent until calling to ask for on site. Only 1 towel was provided for 4-night stay. Extra will only be provide with cost.

Hi Patricia, glad you like the location! Also relieved that our team was able to get you the check in instructions as soon as you called. We actually did already email and SMS them at the time of booking and SMS once again a day before your check-in. Maybe the email ended up in your junk folder? And possibly the mobile number on your account wasn't up to date? Either way that is why we have people on the phones 24/7 to handle these rare occurrences. Regarding the one towel, as this is a self contained apartment with a washer and dryer included we provide a 1 x bath towel, hand towel and bathmat only. Suggest as you’re paying the same price for a hotel room you avoid this place - at least then the windows would open, you could watch TV and have blankets to sleep! The beds have only a heavy doona between two flat sheets, with no ceiling fans or AC or functional windows in the …

Hi Marnie, firstly I would like to apologise from the bottom of my heart for the errors we made during your stay and that our systems did not allow for your concerns to be fully addressed. Hopefully the refund we sent you (before the writing of your review) went some way to making up for your disappointment and stress caused. We would respectfully disagree on that comment that our apartment is priced the same as a hotel. Considering its size and the amount of people it sleeps you will find on average at any given time of the year that it is 50%-75% the price of a similar quality hotel room. Of course, this does not make up for the fact of our poor service on this occasion. Please also note that Lyn is actually an employee (customer service) of ours as I cannot personally answer many calls per day 24/7 due to the fact that me manage 18 apartments. The owners of the apartment are actually from overseas and I'm not sure if you realised that the person you spoke with the most was myself, the host. After hundreds of stays at this particular apartment we have never had anyone complain about the blankets being too warm as in most cases the option of AC, 2 sheets and a blanket are enough to moderate a comfortable temperate. We understand though that not every person is the same and we will purchase some backup blankets to cater to the requests of all guests. Lastly, the issues with the windows is actually publicly stated in the listing and we also clearly mention it in our Guidebook during your free cancellation period. Finally, your maintenance concerns have been addressed and as unfortunately we weren't able to get that done during your stay. Again, we are truly sorry, and hopefully the refund together with special discount towards your next stay will allow you to give us another chance and see how good our service normally is 99.99% of the time. Place was not at all as advertised. Dust, dirt and food spills on the living room floor, finger prints on windows and furniture throughout the apartment. When we complained, we were told to send ‘evidence photos’ and that the cleaner was new and had a death in the family. Thanks …

Hi Jess, our sincere apologies for the sub-par cleaning job and for the mix-up with the wall. When Lyn asked for photos that was for feedback purposes to show the cleaner, and we did apologise about the use of the word "evidence". The listing actually does mention the noise under "other things to note" as this is a very central apartment. Luckily, being on the 9th floor means that the noise isn't too bad and we also help rectify it with earbuds. We believe this apartment generally gets good reviews because 99.9% of the time our service is great. In this case, we definitely dropped the ball and need to improve on the supervision and training of new cleaners. We understand all of your concerns here but also feel it would have been fair to mention that we did refund you before this review was written. Good little apartment to stay in, close to everything and easy check in. Beds are hard though which I personally didn’t like and couch was broken when we got there and Phil had it fixed on our second day. Overall we had a great stay though
