Excellent location, roomy for an efficiency, with a nice modern bathroom and great water temperature & water pressure. Check-in was a breeze; just picked up the keys from the staff in the cafe downstairs. Wifi code included in the checkin materials didn't work, but the host was quick to respond with another access point/code that did work. Wanted to mention two things that other reviewers mentioned: first, the A/C unit started leaking about 30 minutes after turning it on. It was only really hot enough to use it the first day, so it didn't impact my stay much, but if I had needed the A/C this would have been very disappointing. Second, the cigarette smoke from the cafe does have a tendency to waft up the stairs and linger in the apartment.

The space itself is beautiful, and location is great. Loved sitting down in the cafe! We had a lot of problems getting the wifi to work though, which wouldn't have been a huge deal except I got very sick and needed to go to the hospital, but in order to find out where to go in the middle of the night, my husband had to sit way down in the stairwell and steal another rooms wifi. Also we turned the A/C on and within 30 minutes it was pouring water down the wall and all over the kitchen. Fortunately it wasn't too hot while we were there so it was sufficient to have the windows open, but beware of noise and smoke that occasionally wafts up from the cafe. Be prepared to climb stairs and a ladder to get to the room, it's a little sketchy with big luggage, but we knew what we were getting into when we booked. Overall we loved the location and the proximity to walk along the river, the big beautiful beams (watch your head!), and definitely the best shower of our trip!

We had a wonderful stay in the attic apartment! I am pretty picky about staying in unique and special accommodations, and this one fit the bill! I loved the historic charm of the building and the apartment itself, complemented with convenient amenities like a modern, beautiful, seemingly new bathroom and a well-equipped kitchenette. The apartment had lovely antique furniture and views of beautiful Mala Strana from two sides of the building. The location of the apartment was fabulous for first-time visitors to Prague. It was very close to the Charles Bridge and many other tourist-friendly sights, but was on a quiet street removed from anything too busy. We found this location to be exactly as we had hoped. There is also a lovely cafe with library downstairs at which we enjoyed wine in the courtyard one night, and a beer in the basement bar another night. This is a special touch that we really loved! Please note that there is no laundry inside the apartment itself. There may be laundry in the building somewhere, but we did not see any information about it in the welcome letter and did not inquire with the host during our stay. It may be helpful for the listing to be clearer in the description regarding access to laundry. The only other potential drawback to the attic apartment was that the stairs to the top floor were pretty steep with a 50+ lb. suitcase. Thankfully, I had a strong husband there! The stairs to the top floor (while I thought charming and unique!) were a kind of a stair/ladder hybrid, and may not be appropriate or older people or those with difficulty getting around. The host graciously arranged for us to be picked up at the airport for a flat fee. We appreciated that very much. The driver was kind and retrieved the welcome letter and key from the cafe for us. It was very seamless. We did not need to interact face-to-face with the host at any point, but my feeling is that they would have been very available if we had needed them. Communication was very good throughout the process, whether with Lenka or her colleagues Jaroslav or Katka. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in the attic apartment. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to anyone visiting Prague. Also, we had great experiences at the Bakeshop Little Bakery around the corner, and Cafe Savoy, which is a little further away. Would recommend them both!

Great as always! The aircon was leaking though. But Jaruslav was so nice leaving us a bottle of wine at the door. Such a nice treat :-) Cheers to you, Jaruslav!!! Definitely coming back again!

Central, romantic, quiet. Perfect starting point for going anywhere in Prague. Hosts are super easy to get in touch with. Definitely check out the cafe below. Comfy bed, great shower, and a surprisingly quiet street. You'll be close to tourists, but if you get up early you can see sites without any foot traffic. Highly recommended.

Everything in this apartment is beautiful! The interiour, the design and the view. The aircondition was a big plus, since it was a very, very hot weekend. There is no radio or TV, which in my point of view is absolutely great - but maybe some might miss that. It is a charming house and gives you this extra feeling of old Prague. The location right next to Charles Bridge is of course a big plus but at the same time you can easily and quickly escape the crowded and busy parts into very charming and rather quiet small streets and corners. There is an excellent bakery right around the corner, with very delicious bagels! All together it was a great experience and i wish i had that kind of living space at home! Seriously! :-)

Jaroslav's studio is very nice. It seemed to be recently renovated. I found it to be pretty spacious and quiet. I never met Jaroslav or his friend Katka, but they were very helpful and responsive via messaging. I had an issue late one night, messaged Jaroslav, and it was taken care of by the time I woke up the next morning. There is a market close by and the building is ridiculously close to the Charles Bridge. I had a very nice stay.
