Close to many beautiful beaches, SW coast path and Salcombe (5 miles). Walk just 700m into Kingsbridge, a vibrant market town with pretty waterside quay, for great restaurants, cafes, independent shops and lots of fun leisure activities.

Perfect for one or two ... an ideal escape at any time of the year.
Room for four ... but, being bijoux, it's a little cosier.

Two steps lead through the stable door into the beamed kitchen with Belfast sink, terracotta tiled floor and a full range of high spec appliances. Well equipped, so you can actually cook, and an espresso machine, with milk frother, for a morning treat.

An archway leads into the beamed lounge with circular dining table, two soft chairs, window seat, small sofa, footstool and inglenook fireplace with log burning stove.

Light the fire, with the logs provided, sit back and enjoy a little chill out time. Listen to some tunes by linking your phone to the Bose Bluetooth speaker. Access the radio, your favourite catch-up channels and film subscriptions on the Samsung Smart TV (including DVD & Blue-ray). Have fun with our small selection of films and games. Adjust the ambient lighting to suit your mood.

Our stylish bathroom is downstairs where you'll find White Company towels and toiletries, toilet, sink and bath; a beautiful space to indulge in a relaxing candle lit,
bubbly bath.

Ascend the open spiral staircase to the Super King bedroom (can be twin beds, please advise when booking), double bedroom and shower room. Snuggle into our goose down duvets with White Company Egyptian cotton linens. Close the window shutters over the sash windows for a darker, peaceful night’s sleep.

Step up out of the back door into a small bistro seating area, tucked to the side of the alley path that leads to our secluded, south-facing garden. Relax on the comfy day bed (available May-Sep) with a good book, drink in hand and soak up some sunshine surrounded by a little tropical planting.

Sorry, absolutely no pets; we appreciate that dogs are part of the family, they are all well behaved and don't go on the furniture but, unfortunately, we have dog and cat allergies in the family so cannot allow them in our cottage.

You have exclusive use of the entire cottage which is tucked down a quiet no-through lane in a typical South Devon village. The small, private, south-facing garden is reached by a shared back alley pathway (shared with only 2 other properties, one being our adjoining neighbour). Parking is close by in the street or village car park just 25m away.

It's so easy to reach the sights of this beautiful area from our location - without spending too long travelling in the car - especially in high season. Choose a different beach, town, landmark site or activity everyday. Most attractions are less than 30 minutes away. Some of the country lanes are quite narrow.

On your arrival you will find a welcome tea or coffee and provisions for your first breakfast (fresh milk, juice, butter, jam and croissant (or similar) to make your
stay with us more relaxing.

There are some really great places to eat, the best are popular all year round, so we recommend making reservations before your stay to avoid disappointment. Take a look at our on-line ‘Guide’ and check ‘TripAdvisor’ for up to date information.

Indian, Pizza and Asian Takeaway deliveries are free, as you are so close to Kingsbridge.

Our quaint village sits on an elevated ridge west of Kingsbridge, linked by a street lit pavement to this picturesque bustling market town in the centre of the South Hams.

The A381 to Salcombe passes through the village with bus connections to Salcombe and Kingsbridge bus station. West Alvington’s C16th church spire can be seen from miles around. Nearby is a cricket club, primary school with small playing field and village hall. “Bon Bon” is tucked down a quiet residential street lined with stone character cottages.

Step out of our front door and explore two public footpaths, across fields, leading into Kingsbridge, with country views to woodland, farmland and the water.

Our village pub the “Ring O’ Bells” has a restaurant, bar and lounge with log burning stove. Open seven days a week for delicious homemade food serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or just enjoy a game of pool or darts with your pint.
