Captain Bepo’s Court is a beautiful old-style island house, situated on the shore of the fisherman's village of Sumartin-in it's centre. It offers everything you need to spend perfect holiday with your family or friends. The house is newly renovated and has great history. The house is spacious and is adjusted to make you feel like at home. The most stunning part of the house is the big terrace on the top from where you can see entire village and enjoy your morning coffee, lunch or dinner.
Captain Bepo’s Court is a beautiful island house, situated on the shore of the magical fisherman's village of Sumartin. Built with love and skill in the early 20th century, it breathes history intertwined with a modern way of life.
The traditional entry into Captain Bepo’s Courts is dominated by the heroic painting of the ship, “Tomislav”, which survived a hurricane whilst transporting wine from Dalmatia to Rijeka and Italy. Captain Bepo donated a similar painting to the museum of the Franciscan monastery of Sumartin. A piece of the boat’s original sail can still be seen on the wall next to the painting.
At the opening to the fascinating foyer, there is the “White Room”, which has remained largely untouched from the times when Captain Bepo lived within it. It is appropriately and modestly furnished, for he was modest man.
To the left of the foyer is the bathroom, which, when the large window is opened, offers a wonderful view of Sumartin harbour.
From the foyer you can enter a salon, inside which you will find rich pickings. There is the kitchenand diner, TV corner and a functional bathroom – all this offers a very pleasant way to pass the time. From here there are entrances to two double rooms, arranged to offer you a perfect homely ambiance.
Although the lower floor of the house has recently been refurbished, the original pieces of furniture have been preserved to fit in brilliantly with the contemporary setting.
On returning to the foyer, you can see an intriguing supporting pillar, made from the brass shell of a World War 2 missile, refashioned by the innovative Captain Bepo.
You can ascend to the large terrace up the hand-crafted white stone staircase. The entrance to this terrace is built in the style of a captain’s command bridge. From the terrace there is a simply breath-taking view of the magical fishing village of Sumartin. And it is from that terrace that Captain Bepo, with the expert eye of an experienced seaman, but without modern navigation, was able to evaluate whether he might be able to sail his boat away on yet another adventure.

It is a house on two floors, the upper floor is not complete so it is closed and isolated from the rest of the house-the first floor and two terraces are making a whole house that is available so you won't even notice the rest of the house :)
We can adjust to any kind of guests. We can be very friendly (my grandma often bakes cakes) and we can be not seen at all. As our guests wish.
