Leiden is located near interesting towns as Amsterdam, The Hague, Delft, Rotterdam, Haarlem, Utrecht, within 35 minutes by train (which saves you parking trouble and costs). And of course you can enjoy the beautiful Dutch coastline between The Hague and Haarlem. In spring you can make beautiful tours by bike or car to the famous tulip fields and visit Keukenhof.
After a busy day in more crowded cities like Amsterdam or The Hague it's nice to return to the calm of our neighbourhood.
