Otros aspectos destacables

Our 10 acre property is located on the edge of the Santa Rosa Plateau. The Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve, located at the southern end of the Santa Ana near the city of Murrieta and Temecula, is a hidden gem that offers a fascinating glimpse into the history and ecosystems of the area. Consisting of 9000 acres, the Reserve protects unique ecosystems such as Engelmann oak woodlands, riparian wetlands, coastal sage scrub, chaparral, bunchgrass prairie, and vernal pools as well as more than 200 species of native birds and 49 endangered, threatened or rare animal and plant species, including mule deer, mountain lions, badgers, bobcats, western pond turtles, white-tailed kites and fairy shrimp. Of the two species of fairy shrimp that live in the seasonal vernal pools on the Reserve, one is found only here and nowhere else on Earth!

An especially popular day-hike destination at the Reserve is the Moreno and Machado Adobes, the two oldest standing structures in Riverside County, which date back to 1846 and once served as bunkhouses for cowboys. These interesting historical buildings, shaded by a 400-year-old tree and separated by a relaxing one-of-a-kind picnic area, provide a unique opportunity to experience Riverside County’s rich history.

The Reserve offers a number of interpretive programs and trail walks. Horseback riding and mountain biking are popular activities in the Sylvan Meadows Multi-Use Area of the Plateau.

Visitors may pick up a brochure at the Riverside County Park District Headquarters, or simply drop by the Reserve to check it out.

This was a magical place. Tucked into the hills of horse country, we were surrounded by the most beautiful scenery and wildlife galore! The casita was perfectly appointed and had everything you'd need, the grillling area was straight out of a magazine and Tim and Teresa's animals were like characters from a storybook - beautiful and kind. The sunsets and sunrises were breathtaking and the silence we experienced while sitting under the stars at night was exactly what we needed to recharge. This was truly an amazing place and escape for us we will definitely be back. Thank you Tim, Teresa, Frankie, Maddie and Magistade!

My friends and I absolutely loved staying at Lavender Blue Farm! Tim & Teresa were wonderful hosts and even gave us a tour of the farm. The home is equipped with everything you'll need. There were fresh towels, air conditioning, comfortable beds and a stocked kitchen including coffee & tea, orange juice, fruit and bagels. The best part were all the lavender products offered throughout the home (hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion). It was very relaxing to come home to after a full day of exploring the surrounding cities. The farm was quiet and secluded which was perfect coming from busy San Francisco. Thank you for a great stay! We can't wait to come back!

This Casita is such a cute little getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The interior is cutely decorated, modern, and clean. When you first walk in, the smell of lavender completely relaxes you and welcomes you home. Be aware of the 15-20 minute drive down the hill from their place to the freeway when planning. Many of my group's excursions and activities were in Temecula (30ish minutes away without traffic), but we didn't mind the drive. There are horses, chicken, and the most friendly golden doodle on site. Teresa was very easy to contact. We couldn't have asked for a better air bnb experience or host.

Teresa was absolutely wonderful during our weekend stay in Murrietta for our best friend's wedding. Pluses: big cozy beds, air conditioning and parking on site. Beyond the comfort and convenience of the property, the animals, surronding scenery, and small details (coffee and fresh creamer, essential oil products, etc.) were all so welcoming and made our stay extra special. Thank you again, Teresa, for hosting us in your beautiful home!

We bought this ranch for our retirement bucket list. Tim will be retiring from LA City Fire Department soon and Teresa recently hired a manager to take over her position in the company. We are living out our retirement growing lavender, raising horses and creating this amazing place for friends, family and guests to enjoy with us.
