Bright room next to Arthur's Seat.
My lovely flat is on the first floor in an old tenement building, it has a few crumbly parts but lots of character. I live here too so the bathroom and kitchen are shared. I'm very laid back so please use everything as you need it. I also own a 2 year old dog Marley, who is very friendly.
Guests are more than welcome to use the kitchen to make tea, coffee, hot chocolate, toast and muesli. Breakfast is on a help yourself basis and feel free to put the kettle on the rest of the day. If you wish to buy food to cook I'm happy for you to use the kitchen too, just wash what you use and leave it as you find it.
The street itself has a small lane at one end where you can walk into Queen's Park at Arthur's Seat. The location is also great for getting to The Royal Mile and the City Centre can be walked to in around 25 minutes.
Your room is a decent sized, private bedroom containing a double bed with 2 single duvets, wardrobe, table and chairs, TV and black out blind. The mattress is quite firm.
There are other residents in the building so I would like to request that all guests are respectful towards the neighbours and make a sensible amount of noise.
Disponible para huéspedes
Free on street parking, Wifi, towels, soap, clean bedding (not ironed), hairdryer, iron and shared bathroom with a bath and shower. All doors have locks for privacy. In your bedroom you will find water and glasses. I unfortunately don't have the space to do a lot of laundry but if anything is in desperate need of a wash, or you're staying for a longer time, we can sort something out.

Interaction will be varied as I'm a shift worker. At times, I'll be around with my dog, Marley. He loves people so will want to say hello. Not a barker though so he's nice and quiet. If I'm off work, I'm happy to take guests on many of my dog walking routes at Arthur's Seat. I also surf at Belhaven Bay which is one of the beautiful beaches of East Lothian, around 40 minutes drive from Edinburgh. You're very welcome to join me as I drive out there fairly frequently.
If I'm working, my lovely Dad will meet you with keys and show you around, and then you'll have the place to yourself.

The street can be a bit noisy at times, although I generally find it quite peaceful. There are a fair amount of seagulls being not too far from the ocean, and occasionally you will hear people walking through the street below.
I live in Edinburgh and I currently work in healthcare. I've been off on my travels for a couple of years but have now settled back home. I'm an active person and enjoy anything outdoors, have recently adopted a dog and also learning to surf at the moment. I'm very friendly and like meeting people from different places and backgrounds :)
