Stay in the original Wild Things family cabin on the southernmost peninsula of Little Fox Lake. Experience our unique, off-grid way of life on the land at our rural, yet easily accessible location along the Klondike Highway, 85km north of Whitehorse, Yukon.
Little Fox Lake is the home of our family's wild foraging business, Wild Things. Our products include jellies, syrups and salves made from foraged ingredients, artic charr (fish), gourmet mushrooms, and fireweed honey. For more about our business visit: (URL HIDDEN)
Our lake is small enough to be safe for canoeing and kayaking yet big enough to support a healthy grayling, lake trout, and burbot fish population. Fishing is best in the late evening when the lake often appears to boil with rising fish. We have a canoe, the use of which is included in the price of your stay. Paragliding, hiking, bird and wildlife watching and photography, stand-up paddle boarding, and burl wood gathering are some other popular pastimes available in the immediate area. If it is peace and tranquility you seek, sitting around a campfire enjoying the hours-long sunsets and listening to the loons call, we invite you come for a visit.
