Pros: Davoud's place is centrally located; which was nice because all I needed to do was take a quick lyft ride to get anywhere. There's also an amazing bar downstairs; where me and a friend went for hookah and wings :) I actually enjoyed that there was a bar downstairs because I'm a lively person. I didn't mind the music at all; I actually preferred it. I also enjoyed that there were no neighbors. You didn't have to worry about being too loud. I definitely would stay here again just because of that. Lastly, the place is nice and modern, with a big island. It's definitely perfect for entertaining.
Cons: I wish there was a divider to separate the bed from the kitchen; living space. However, it is DC and it is a studio, so that's minor. It could've definitely been alot cleaner. I feel as though for the price I paid, I shouldn't have to had to wear shoes just to walk in the bathroom. When I first got there, everything looked very nice and clean, but as I took a closer look; I noticed all the dust. It was pretty disturbing. The bathroom was pretty gross. There was hair and dirt still left in there. Also, the balcony area had an odor to it, which I didn't mind so much, but just something to note. Lastly, parking was a nightmare and should be noted on the listing; as well as how to actually get into the apartment.
Overall, if those cons were fixed, I would definitely stay here again. It is so cool at night when you could adjust the lights in the unit, it really makes it feel like a cool and hip penthouse. There's also tons of natural light. I honestly would love to live in the unit if it was for rent.
