The Cozy Cabin is located 9 miles up the Trask River in Tillamook. A great place for families with kids, writers retreat, any retreat, hunting, hiking, fishing and ATV enthusiasts. Wildflowers in spring, bird watching and plenty of wildlife....Elk, deer, bobcats and cougar, bear, bats, raccoons and chipmunks.....etc.
The path to the river is a gentle meandering path to a sandy beach (in the summer) with a wonderful swimming hole.
The Cozy Cabin has been well loved and lived in. The flooring is made of rough planks in the living area. They look worn yet clean. The china vintage Blue Mountain and Southern pottery I have collected for years.... and the eating utensils don't match. You'll have all you need to cook. Pie plates, cupcake pans, cookie sheets, crock pot, cast iron, omelette pan baking dishes. It is somewhat quirky and funky.....though clean and tidy (like me). Stove and oven are on a propane tank. I like to cook and appreciate a flame. Let me know if you have special requirements.

You'll have full use of the cabin though not the garage. I have a small space where I sometimes visit when long term guests are staying so I can maintain the yard and greenhouse. I certainly would give you a heads up.
Guests have a large yard in front and also the backyard with a privacy fence.
The river frontage is 1400' with a very nice sandy beach in the summer months...I have beach chairs available...4

Children are welcome though must be monitored at all times. The cabin is not child proof .....cords must be wound up and out of the way. There are electrical plug caps, a Graco Pack 'n Go.
There are logging trucks early in the morning, not so noticeable in the riverside bedroom.
Apparently a neighbor across the river has chickens now...cluck cluck cluck, and a happy rooster.
