Our month-long stay at Anne's apartment was wonderful. Anne is the best host! Her suggestions on everything from getting around Paris to where to eat and shop were perfect. She checked in with us periodically to make sure that everything was going well. The apartment is comfortable and homey. It is well suited for short and long stays. The location is minutes from the metro and minutes from Rue Mouffetard and the Place Monge market. Several choices of boulangeries, charcuteries, and chocolate shops within minutes make for endless good food. If you need Starbucks, it is close by. Not only is it a lovely apartment in a great location, I cannot say enough for Anne's hospitality. She ensured that we had a good start and a good end to our adventure. Thank you Anne!

Anne is a great host--she welcomed us to the apartment with food and showed us around the neighborhood. Her apartment was spacious for 2 people and had everything we needed.

What a wonderful experience! The apartment is exactly as described and depicted in the photos. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. 2 metro stops, and bus stops are within a 3 minute walk. The nearby Rue Mouffetard offers numerous bakeries, coffee shops, cafes, cheese shops, and pretty much anything you could need. Anne was so gracious. She was very responsive to my emails before we arrived. She met us at the apartment with croissants and coffee, gave us a tour of the apartment, and a quick tour of the neighborhood. We couldn't have asked for a better host or apartment. We felt right at home!

Our stay at Anne's place was fabulous. She was a gracious host throughout our 9-day stay. She greeted us with watermelon and wine and other goodies. The next morning we stopped with Anne for coffee and a "tartine" at a local cafe. She introduced us to the concept of cafe allonge, which is a weaker version of the French espresso, which she charmingly translated as: "coffee lying down." She then took us around the neighborhood, including the grocery store (Franprix) and an open-air farmer's market. You're not allowed to squeeze the fruit/veggies, which are beautiful, if a bit pricey. People were dancing to traditional French accordion music in the public square right near the apartment on weekends!! Boulangeries and patisseries abound! If you like fresh OJ, like we do, make sure to stop at Franprix. For 3.99 Euro you pour your own liter of fresh OJ from the spigot! The Fifth Arrondissement, where the apartment is situated, is ideal. It is not too touristy, so you get a real feeling for what it's like to be a Parisian! At the same time, you are close to the Metro and all of Paris. Her apartment is spacious and extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. Alas, no A/C, which was only an issue on one warm night. It was also full of lovely and interesting artwork, pottery and tons of books. Anne was accessible and extremely helpful whenever we asked, including a medical situation that arose. We met others in Paris who were not as happy with their Airbnb arrangements, and we felt so glad we had found Anne.

We had a perfect stay at Anne's! The location was great, easy to get anywhere. The apartment was lovely, great kitchen, nice size rooms, and the washing machine was a big plus! The best part of Anne's place though, is Anne! She met us at the apartment with croissants and juice, she was super friendly and helpful, and easy to communicate with! We will be back!. Thank you Anne!

Anne was very proactive in helping us connect from overseas and ensuring we were comfortable getting to the apartment and meeting her there. She is very engaging, helping her guests think through what they might like to do in the area and the city generally, and how to travel (walking, bus, metro). The apartment is furnished with antiques and art, nick nacks and photos, mainly from Africa east to the Pacific. Anne has a large collection of music on CD, primarily jazz, blues and various "world" beats - some fantastic selections. My teenaged daughter and I stayed for a week very comfortably. The bed and the fold out sofa are both very comfortable. Is was a pleasure. The apartment is near the number 7 train - convenient to Pont Neuf, Palais Royale - Louvre, etc. Luxembourg and St Michel are just a bit over a mile walk. Marais is a short walk from the Pont Marie stop on the 7 train. A short walk south from the apartment, you can catch number 6 train at Place d'Italie, providing direct access cross town to the Eiffel Tour and adjacent areas. The apartment is only one block to rue Mouffetard, which is lined with excellent shops selling baked goods, cheeses, meats and fruits. A full grocery, too, all along the first two blocks of the street. If you are an American who cannot let go, there is a Starbuck's on the corner. We bypassed it every day because the best of Paris is right there. Two pharmacies are one block away, along with numerous ATMs. If you enjoy early morning walks or runs - I had wonderful walks from the apartment to Place de la Concorde every other morning via rue Mouffetard, Les Jardins du Luxembourg and Le Parthenon / Saint Germain. Round trip around 5 miles. The appliances, cookware and dishes are all that are necessary, and we made breakfast every morning. The apartment enjoys a pleasant cross breeze. You may hear voices and maybe some music echo from the courtyard in the back in the evening. It is city living, and Friday and Saturday night there will be some activity. It was not at all disturbing to us, but if you wish for absolute silence, an apartment in the 5th overlooking a courtyard is not for you. Anne kindly checked on us and called a taxi for us the evening before we left for CDG. A wonderful stay in a very nice apartment, with a lovely host. For our next visit to Paris, we may try another area for a change, but if we were to stay in the 5th, we would be happy to return to Anne's apartment.

We had such a wonderful experience with Airbnb. Ann was such a wonderful host. Helped us get settled in and gave us a walk about of the neighbor. Her apartment is just perfect. Truly a Parisian experience. Convenient to restaurants, metro and night life in the local cafe's. Thank you Ann for making our month so memorable. All the best Matt & Dan
