We are located in East Talkeetna which is about a 15-20 minute walk to downtown. Since all the beds are upstairs it is not easy for elderly folks to navigate. However, There is a single couch/bed on the main floor in the living room area. Also there is only one bathroom on main floor. There is plenty of space to spread out and play both indoors and outdoors. The yard is fairly private and a great place for children and dogs to play. It is also a short walk to the river and trails.
The space is unique because it is large with a big yard. It is a nice walk to downtown Talkeetna taking about 15-20 minutes. There are many windows which is great if you like the long sunny days. However, if you need it dark to sleep there are blinds on every window with black out curtains in the bedrooms. Rainy weather days are somewhat cool so the monitor heater can be turned on anytime. There are easy directions written on it. There is wifi and Apple TV.
Disponible para huéspedes
Guests have full access to whole house and yard. There are 2 small, private bedrooms with double beds. The large loft that looks on to the kitchen has a queen size bed and 2 single beds. All sleeping areas are upstairs but there is a couch/bed on ground level in the space with the TV. The flat screen has the cable to connect to your laptop if you prefer to use it. It also has Apple TV for news and movies. There is a grill on the deck. The kitchen has the basics needed to cook but if you need anything special I can get it.
Atención a los huéspedes
I hope to meet my guests but if they are there for only one night I may not see them. I am there often working on the yard and will be painting the house and fence.

We just put in a new outhouse. Sometimes when there are a lot of people one bathroom is just not enough. We also finished the 'snorer's' cabin in the back yard. It has a single bed, is insulated and has electricity for that special person who needs their own space.
