Our large double-aspect attic room offers a calm, private space at the top of our house, exceptionally close to the beach and promenade. Breakfast is included. The room has a comfortable double bed and tea/coffee-making facilities. Priority use of bathroom and use of large sunny garden with table tennis and trampoline. Children can be accommodated at a small fee. We offer meals with the family on request and use of a well-equipped, spacious kitchen if required. Deal is beautiful all year round.
This is a beautiful, airy room in a quiet road just off the seafront with a comfortable double bed. Guests have priority use of the bathroom at all times as we use our additional downstairs bathroom when hosting. We provide a hairdryer, kettle, tea and coffee, towels, small T.V. (large TV available on request!) and internet access. Washing and ironing facilities are also available. Parking is available on the road close to or outside the house or there is a free public car park a few yards along the road. Children can be accommodated on put-you-ups at a fee of £10. We can provide evening meals at a very reasonable cost.

Atención a los huéspedes
We love to meet new people and make new friends. We are happy to cook and share evening meals. This is a busy, sociable family home but the attic room is on a separate floor so there is privacy too.
Otros aspectos destacables
We are within a 5 min walk of The Lighthouse, a new music venue in Deal
and The Walmer Bandstand which has weekly summer concerts and commemorates the Royal Marines. Our home backs onto Deal and Betteshanger Rugby Club.
We ask guests to leave the room clean and tidy. Children should not be left upstairs unsupervised. We never access the room whilst it's in use, so we ask that if guests want clean cups etc they just take them from the kitchen.
Smoking is fine outside. Please do not leave the bathroom window open when not in use.
I am an English teacher and an author of textbooks. My husband is also a teacher. I love reading, gardening and sea-swimming. I am very chatty and always enjoy visitors from abroad as I have often flat-shared with foreigners in the past. Our house is big and friendly with people often dropping in for a coffee or a meal. My husband used to be a chef and we both love cooking. I also enjoy baking. We have one son (11) who also enjoys meeting new people. My favourite books are Brixton Beach, The Good Father, Captain Corelli, any Rose Tremain, Isabel Allende, Ian McEwan. I am happy to teach anyone staying here from abroad some extra English and can provide all sorts of local information.
I can also offer longer stays with some teaching of English included.
