Location is an easy 15 minute walk to center. Accommodation was basic with shared bathroom and kitchen. Breakfast is basic. Wifi didn't work for a couple hours but the young man working was happy enough to fix it. Only qualm is that hospitality and communication could be much better. As soon as we checked out we were treated poorly. We were waiting in the hallway of the apartment complex for our bus and this lady who works there kept yelling at and kicked us out. Not the best customer service for a b&b.
The location is perfect, close to the train station and the bus station, just outside a gate to the old city. It's also clean, you get all the things you need. Good for one night. On the other side, and maybe it was the effect of me changing the reservation (for which I paid the due fine without complaint, in accordance with the rules), I didn't feel at home. I love Siena, so I came for five days. First, I don't know how it is in summer, but now it's basically a dorm, and though my neighbours were very nice, you hear every sneeze, every click, the steps of other people overhead. The breakfast was stale, even the coffee wasn't as good as it usually is in Italy, and the room for breakfast looks like a cheap canteen. It has two hosts, and messages from them were mixed. For example, there was a misunderstanding when I wanted to cancel one night (of a week). I sent my request, it was rejected, one of the hosts explained it was technically impossible due to airbnb rules. In a couple of hours I received a request from the other host of this bnb to cancel two nights. Turns out it was technically possible... in the end we talked and everything was clarified and we cancelled one night, but I didn't feel good about it. Next time in Siena - different place to stay
