Leadengate Close is one of the most sought after locations in Croyde. It is extremely pretty with different coloured Chalet style holiday homes. In the other direction the footpath leads to the back of Billy Buds and The Thatch the most popular family Pubs in the middle of Croyde Village with a family play area.
Kingfisher is a small wooden chalet. It is beautifully presented but not everybody's 'cup of tea.' It is a perfect holiday home for families as it is so easy to walk down to the beach and the village without going on any main roads. Leadengate Close is very charming and comprises of similar properties. This gives a wonderful holiday feel, while still remaining relatively private. The downside of a wooden property near the beach where you can hear the sea is the constant battle with the damp. We love Kingfisher and I am sure you will too.
There is an open plan well equipped and modern kitchen, with oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a corner sofa which seats 5 people and the dining area has a nice dining table and 4 chairs. We tend to stack the chairs away and push the table over between meals. There is a nice table outside in the garden which we use a lot. The dining chairs are actually garden chairs so you can take these into the garden too.
Kingfisher is in a lovely plot on the sunny side of the street and gets the sun morning and evening on different sides of the garden.
The master bedroom has a double bed, a wardrobe, dressing table with mirror and 2 bedside cabinets.
The next double room is quite small with a double bed, wardrobe and bedside cabinet.
The single room has bunk beds and a small wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

I am a dressage rider married to a farmer and we bought the cottage when I was training a lot at Gatcombe.
We love the cottage but don't use it as much as we used to.
We hope that you will love it too.
