Paul's place was really conveniently located. It's right on the river, which means there's a spectacular view from the living room window. This also meant that it was a really quick walk to get to the riverwalk. There were a couple grocery stores, bakeries, fromagerie, and a butcher all in really close walking distance.
The apartment itself is very close to the pictures in the listing. It's a very spacious place. The kitchen has all the things you might need including a water boiler and microwave.
The heater was a bit tricky to figure out, but Martin (one of the co-hosts) was helpful with explaining how it worked.
The wi-fi was very reliable, which was a relief since we work and travel so having a good connection where we were staying is really important.
We had a mouse that showed up towards the end of the trip, and Martin quickly scheduled an exterminator to show up. It's a problem with the area apparently so they have to take care of it every once in awhile, but they don't let an infestation go untreated.
