Lovely bright and clean place. Walking distance to public transport and sightseeing attractions. Communication with the host was excellent - extremely prompt and easy! Would definitely stay again

Paul's place is really nice. Other's suggested that it was a bit loud because it is near a motorway, but I did not notice the noise at all. Similarly, I rarely heard from any of the other tenants in other flats. The location is good (I am not sure that everyone would call it "The West End" though). It is a straightforward 12-15 minute walk to Partick rail and underground (It is a 20-25 minute walk to what people would more properly call, "The West End"). It is along Dumbarton Road, which is pretty busy, but it is a straightforward walk and there are some pubs, convenience stores, places to grab a quick snack, etc. along the way. There are also plenty of buses and cabs that go by if you wanted to skip the walk entirely. It is close to the Glasgow airport (Uber to the airport was around 8-10 GBP). His instructions on how to get into the flat and what to do when you check out are straightforward (Americans need to remember that the second floor is what we call the third floor to avoid disturbing the neighbors one floor below. Luckily I remembered because my flight was delayed and I was coming in very late at night!). The space itself is big. There is one good sized bedroom with a really comfortable bed and plenty of furniture for your clothes should you want to move away from living out of your suitcase. The shower was great with plenty of hot water and strong water pressure. The living room is big with a comfortable sofa and plenty of TV options. The Internet signal was strong as well. I did not use the kitchen too much, but there was a fridge, cooker and plenty of pots, pans, etc. should you want to make some food. Particularly helpful was a list of cafes, bars and restaurants around Glasgow that Paul provides in the welcome email and instructions on how to get into the flat. Some of these have discounts associated with them. I would stay again if my travel takes me back to Glasgow (which I hope it does since Glasgow is, as they say, "Pure dead brilliant".

Great place to stay, especially if you're planning to spend more time at the AirBnB than just sleep. Great, fast communication and very helpful host in figuring out places nearby, best transit options. A good place to stay if you don't mind being a but outside the city centre.

We spent a few days in Paul's flat, and really liked it. The floor could have some refurbishment and the entry corridor (outside the flat) looks a bit dirty, but the rest is just fine. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is great, and the location was perfect for us. On overall we thought it was a very good place to stay, particularly for this price. Would recommend it without hesitation.

A good location and nice flat with Dave being the most attentive caretaker. The bedroom curtaining meant little shading from early morning light but not so much of a problem with winter approaching! A few housekeeping niggles were quickly ironed out and the only thing we missed was a teapot..

The dark side of Airbnb? I think I've been speaking to several people during my stay. The pictures are real, but do not show the actual state of the flat (uneven floor / damp wall). You're not warned that you have to self check-in, but if you read carefully your emails, there's a link to the instructions hidden ... Internet is very slow! Otherwise, The flat is clean, and almost worth what we paid for it.

So sorry to hear you didn't have the usual 5 star experience that the vast majority of our guests have. We had a leak with the heavy rainfall recently, we have had that repaired and are in the process of getting the walls redecorated. It is over a small area and does not in any way take away from the overall look of the apartment. We emailed you 3 days before arrival advising you how you would check in, it wasn't hidden. The keybox is right at the front door and gives guests the flexibility to arrive whenever they want. All our previous guests have found this feature beneficial. Again I apologise you did not enjoy the flat but this review is not reflective of the apartment and of the vast, vast majority of our guests
